| Not a bad one, though I still wanna punch Akkun for bad mouthing Non....so the Teacher doesn't necessarily hate Konagi, he just wanna maintain his self respect as a teacher. |

| Well, some good laughs here and there but not too good though. |
| This was a mix of cringe and creepy moments for me, I totally dont understand how some people find it funny or, even weirder for me, heartwarming. I really like male tsundere characters, but the guy wasnt a tsundere, just some creep with only two states of mind: 'I despise her' and 'I'm obsessed about her', and the girl was always so happy about it it was just strange. The other couples were awkward to watch, it was making me cringe all the time. Bleh, 1/10. |

| A good short show. A solid 8/10. However, in my opinion, the novelty wore off past the halfway mark. It just kind of plateaued at that point. It never became bad or boring really, just not as fresh. Still a good short show. Wouldn't mind a Season 2 at all. |

| DAMN, is this the best short anime ever? i laughed and smiled at every single second of this, a lot more than some of the long running shows =D 10/10, please season 2! now...i wonder who is my favorite character? as all 3 girls were super good, and the 2 guys were not that bad either, not to mention even the parents/teacher were fun to watch lol =D |

| D'aaaaaw, Akkun finally called Non by her first name, good job! Anywho this was a pretty cute series, provided you remember not to take it even remotely seriously(as you should) and just embrace the fluff. I think the first time we met the parents was probably my favorite episode, got a big kick out of that one. XD Solid 7/10. |
| The concept of a tsundere male isn't original but it is uncommon and especially rare to have in a couple as extreme as Atsuhiro in how he constantly insults Non. Unfortunately, in the end, it fails to deliver to a satisfying development. While it is odd and almost vexing, their dynamic at first is hilarious but quickly becomes annoying with the lack of constant switch of Akkun's care and love for her. Akkun and His Girlfriend, is a romcom with Atsuhiro, a tsundere male who most of the time insults his girlfriend Non to hide his timid yearn of love for her even though he obsessively adores her from having pictures of her in his room, while taking pictures and recording her from a distance. Non, a very sweet kind girl who knows he never means any of his insults, is accustomed to it from her father being like him to her mother. As for the Supporting Character's; Konagi, an outgoing girl who likes her teacher Takumi since he simply found her when she was lost, is deluded into thinking it's mutual. As adorable as she is as a character with fangs, an unoriginal unrequited student-teacher love that is only used for comedy is redundant and bland. Atsuhiro's sister, Chiho, insulting to her brother but like him adores Non, enjoys to vex him by clinging onto Non against him. She's not the worst hateful death-threat mild classic tsundere, but her odd illogical unclear complex of hating Masago is ultimately inexcusably annoying. As for Atsuhiro's friend, Masago who's a fan of visual novel dating simulations with 2D girlfriends, who plays at their house since his console is broken ... as Chiho's boyfriend to be, who he looks out for to an extent, is bland. Back Story; Atsuhiro and Non first met when he helped her get a rabbit back that went out of the shed in elementary school and stalked him to an extent noticing his good qualities, until they became friends. On a day he was sick, conflicted in wanting her to go home to avoid her catching his fever, wanting to express his thankful feelings, he blurted out that he likes her and she confesses that she likes him back. ... The small moments of him loving her were cute, along with her usual cheerful cute mood was enjoyable, with some funny moments but ultimately a wasted potential with terrible balance of plot development, with bland redundant heroines in Chiho and Konagi, with a useless ending of not seeing Atsuhiro finally becoming candid to expressing his true adoration of Non. I don't know how different if at all the original manga is but no matter, this story is flawed in its plots and characters. 4/10. |
