I don’t get the purpose of void of Nana arc it’s just like swept mess, however the ending is kinda lack and rush but the story depicts that Yusuke’s flow of “heartbroken” piece is building up by last sequence. Reunion with Sam-soon?, i hope so however it’s rushed mess that’s why we need more sealing up ending with that. I really enjoy the series the art and the Amagami SS vibe on this one so still win-so series on this one, cheers.

It was a real d*ck move she did for leaving him like that, but she was the best character of this series so i guess its fine.
To bad we wont know what happens after that call, like what happend to her marriage and such...

Honestly I had a hard time forgiving her for just leaving like that but the mc was a mess of bad decisions in almost every arc except hers. She was the one he seriously considered spending the rest of his life with. The midget princess arc showed he takes that kind of decision seriously without caring about incentives like his job or money, even if he was rather meek about the whole thing at first.

I am a little mad that we don't get to see things wrap up for him after all that but whatever. He did a lot of things wrong and regretted a lot as it is.

As much as it sucked that she left him during that time, she definitely tried to figure out what she was doing. I'm so glad you can clearly see she doesnt have a ring on in the end so they'll more than likely be together again. :)

The Nana arc seemed a little unnecessary. Sam-soon was the best girl in the whole series so I liked the ending even if it was left a bit open.

I'm really not satisfied with it. Near the end the direction felt really weird and unnatural with the last arcs, only to end on a fucking cliff hanger to ruin everything, with no real huge powerful growth from the protagonist. Disappointing.

He's a weird character. I love how somewhat relatable it is to my personality and fantasies, even though I'm a virgin with no experience but. I don't know. It's so complicated.

It felt like a 8 in the beginning almost but with its plots and conclusion it almost feels like a 6.5/10 out of lack and disappointment.
... What's frustrating is that he still feels immature but we'll never know how he develops or if he got lucky in making the right decision this time.

highkey this arc was so unnecessary, they should have just extended the sam soon arc instead

Younger sister of Makino.

I have mixed feelings as well. I wanted to love this series very hard, but near the end it became too confusing.

1) MC really came back to the girl who broke up with him and left for another man? Seriously?... that's kinda low even for him. He's not saint but what she did him dirty. So obsessed with getting married and I am not even sure if she loved MC and not just used him.

2) What was the point of having Nobita's (first girl) flashbacks if she had no play in the ending? Just to show us that "she is the one"? Okay then... I've thought MC is gonna end up with her.

3) Whatever happened to that foreign girl? And teacher Hermes? If you showed us three girls, might as well hint on the other two.

Not gonna mention Nana arc at all. It seems like thrown here.

What I want to say... author probably wanted to write something like Minamoto-kun no Monogatari, having MC meeting all kinds of girls, but either grew tired of it or his story was axed so decided just end it here.

I rate 7/10, but it's very weak 7, more like 6,75. Could have been 8-8,5 if quality was consistent.

you're totally wrong she didn't left him for her ex he already said he heard that she rejected the marriage so the reason was more complicated and that's what the mc realized when he was memorizing when they were together so he finally understood that she has her reasons and went to find her..... I could explain better but I'm poor at English

9/10 logically and 10/10 emotionally
I loved this manga so much especially the ending it was perfect....most of the comments probably didn't understand it well (you can see they have a memory/Comprehension problems cuz they missed a lot of an already mentioned points) + i don't understand the hate for the Nana arc it's actually important and the araragi guy above mentioned some of it + people have an unreasonable hate for any sort of open endings idk why even tho it was the best choice here with the mc realizing his selfishness and what was behind sam-soon leaving him (& basically every other girl) then him desperately searching for sam wanting to meet her .... She was silent for a moment (was obviously touched) then suddenly laughed like she did when they were/got together at this point we can see her teary eyes and blushing face with no ring on her finger saying calmly "Okay" = clearly a happy ending .... Author doesn't need to tell you but to show you and that's what distinguishes peak media from mid, people really have to make a use of their brains while watching or reading something
(sorry for my poor English)

Just finished the series, here's my two cents.

I thought the ending was a bit strange and a bit convenient, probably a cancellation of some sort.

The rest of the manga was actually rather good. It was full of people, with lives and problems. Not everything worked out, situations were messy, and you couldn't always see the ending. Sort of like life.

It did a good job with the main character for the most part, but his growth seemed superficial. It mostly only seemed like he grew because it said he did, rather than showing it through his actions.

TANKOBON HAS AN EXTRA FINAL PAGE (apparently).

So I read the official translation and was really satisfied with the ending. But seeing the comments here saying that the ending was a cliffhanger made me confused. I found out that the official tankobon has an extra page on the last chapter, which I guess most people missed thus being frustrated with the ending (I read back the second last page and would be too if it ended there)

To be clear what I mean, the second last page ended with
and the last page is
