Meh, this episode was boring. We got mostly buildup in the aftermath of Kouka's destruction.

I almost forgot the capabilities of the other models but it seems hacking is definitely one to not overlook. I think the episode introduced some concepts that will be revisited in future episodes.

I sure as hell hope Arato knows what he's doing..

What a boring episode. Arato continues to be a bland MC. Got to see what's going on after what happened with Kouka. Things don't look that good. Now Arato is going to have to stop Snowdrop.

That was a drag. This show honestly is dead to me. Even if I dont drop it (since I never like to drop shows), it's dead.

Everything was so slow and dull and I really couldn't care for Arato.

From my perspective this episode was just wrap up from last episode. And I don't know how much people saw that Arato is more and more manipulate by Lacia. I know he what to help his friend ( I do same thing ), but taking responsibility for not knowing what methods Lacia use to help him is irresponsible. And one more thing where is Lacia them the police do search in his house ? I think from this point mc is more like a tool for her than vice versa for there goals.

Geez... This anime only serves to confuse me forevermore. I'm literally losing the plot watching this -story-wise (although this anime could make me mental as well... Aah, the explaining of a pun)
Arato's probably feeling the same though
By far the worst anime I've watched (it's gonna be dropped like Punchline), but I am going to finish it off.
I yawned an innumerable amount of times... It's tiring just to sit through it; an' I'm bedridden with nothing better to do as well

Other than what's been said, there is nothing better to say; I can't even review this episode 'cause it was so pedestrian and lame that there is nothing to review... It's comedy wasn't even that good either -with there being one comical scene, that being the door opening on Arato's sister. 😑. so funny. 😒.

Hmm so Kouka got saved huh. So Kengo got arrested due to his affiliation with the antibody network. Clever move to use a implanted comm's device to maintain contact. But Lacia's plan sure was bold but at least it paid off. The interrogation though was a surprise. But Lacia sure has been working hard behind the scenes to help Arato though. After seeing Kouka get destroyed i guess snowdrop will be mad. Unlike the others she has no owner to rein her in. Interesting episode that shows that Lacia has been helping Arato a lot from behind the scenes. Feels like the trust between Arato and Lacia have grown stronger. Though it looks like the enemy is also on to them as well.

What an episode, that's for sure.

Things are coming to a head, at least, and which I hope will be resolved in the next 9 episodes.

Am quite surprised that Lacia is working behind the scenes and/or behind Arato's back, though, if that interrogation at the police station was anything to go by.

That Commander Lemaire chick is definitely an hIE, considering she telepathically talked to that black Shest guy or whatever.

Can't wait to see what happens next, even though I'm getting mighty bored with the show and its continuous up-and-down roller coaster shenanigans. :|

Whatever the was at the start it got Kouka's weapon by the looks of it, very interesting.

Ouch indeed, that was a big and scary looking needle, it's a big help though being able to communicate with Lacia whenever either of them wants to.

Arato and the HOO both got what they wanted by the looks of it, now they just need to find out who that person was that contacted the kidnapper.

I'm very interested to know what exactly Lacia is up to, that is a lot of disguises, is she benefiting Arato by whatever it is she is doing or is she just using him to complete her own goals.

Anything Snowdrop does is very bad, just what is she up to this time.

Maybe Lacia is not the perfect robot waifu we thought her to be lol. Still, her lurking around the house in disguise could just be for security purposes since Arato needs to be protected from himself lmao.

Wonder who got Kouka's weapon, that thing is pretty op but considering how advanced it is I am betting only another Lacia class can use it. Maybe it was Methode.

Snowdrop is up to more shenaningans but I hope she will do something new because paralyzing the city and making zombie hIEs is getting pretty old.

Well that was a terrible episode and still 9 more to go. The only reason I'm still watching is to get a little satisfaction of seeing the MC find out that Lacia is evil and manipulating him or something like that. Even if it all works out in the end I just wanna see that one moment of betrayal on his dumbass face.

Interesting episode in the aftermath of Kouka's "death", but also perhaps a little too convoluted compared to what it needed to be. I get that trying to get Kengo out of prison isn't exactly going to be the easiest task or anything, given his proven track record of being involved with the Antibody Network, but the roundabout way they've been trying to do it doesn't make much sense: is getting a better lead for the police to follow, via that kidnapper guy from near the start of the show, really going to make the police release Kengo so easily? I just don't see it, in all honesty. Then throwing in that revelation that Lacia keeps disguising herself near Arato's apartment: what is the purpose for her to do that? Other than making Arato question his blind trust of Lacia in this - given that she is doing that behind his back without any indication of it whatsoever - I can't figure out how it aids Lacia herself in any way to do that, unless I'm missing something blatantly obvious.

Snowdrop's attack at the end isn't exactly unexpected or anything, but it does again confuse things, partially because it distracts from trying to find the guy with the better lead to aid Kengo's release, but also because it's very risky for Arato to get involved here: the military people who killed Kouka clearly didn't fully trust him and will no doubt be involved in trying to stop Snowdrop, so if they see Arato there they'll know he lied to them, which could prove very problematic for both himself and Lacia in the future.

I don't think light novel author knows either. Feels like he tried to bring up EVERY aspect of people/AI relationship he had ever read/watched about but in the end fucked up everywhere. Furthermore, this terrible adaptation made it even worse...

A between 4 and 5 out of 5 episode -- as a construction one. It added a lot of information on the story. I miss Kouka... it is not a human being; then, I cannot say it is dead, but damaged and deactivated or turned off. Its body and weapon carried, how to know if Kouka cannot be repaired?

hmmm!!! what i can say is that nothing really notable happened on this one, Arato has been able to talk to konga and well its a hit on his face when konga said " (the reason why he didnt answer kouka's question if he wants to be her master)... i care more about people..."... hahaha... sadly on my point i even believe that Arato only carres more about lacia and less among other people...

and next week good thing is not a recap of last episodes of the series nor filler episodes as it will be all about snowdrop... now thats the one im excited about... as said in the teaser "thats why they cant exist with humans"... hahaha...

So PMC/major's trying to find the top pro of the Antibody. Arato just hitching felt really random but well both sides got some info.
Lacia did a lot more covert work to keep baka mc safe, & probably lots more mystery.
Oh robot fish
Well baka mc is more proactive now, an improvement.

People complain about not understanding the story or getting lost, then complain about the abundant amount of recaps that explains the plot they don't get.... Seems legit. Like yeah, the show is kind of boring, and yeah Arato is a shite mc, his friends are all fucking dumb, and his sister is god awful, and sure there are still quite a few things that don't make sense, but honestly I'd say the plot makes close to 60-70% sense at this point, with that rate going up more and more each episode as things get explained, even if perhaps too conveniently. Like this episode we finally figure out why Arato has been getting off mostly scot free for his actions, because Lacia has been manipulating things behind the scenes. We also figure out that Lacia has been doing some odd things when not around Arato, which to me at least is intriguing. We also learn more about what the police, PMC, and antibody network have been and are actively doing. If Lacia turns out to be the true final boss, I'd be happy to give this show a 7 or 8, but right now it's maybe a 4 or 5 for me.

But seriously, how can some of you not understand the general gist of things at this point? Most of you hate the recap episodes, and complain about them, saying we don't need them or they are a waste of time, but clearly they are needed (even though the writers shouldn't have to rely on recaps to make sense of this story) to clarify what a bunch of you seem to miss, since people still can't seem to figure out the general gist of the plot or are still lost? Come on. Go over the recaps again if you have to if you are seriously considering watching this until the end, they hit all the main points. True, if the story did a better job of explaining itself we wouldn't need the recaps, but that's the reality of this anime and it tries to make up for it at least. Sure the plot is by no means a masterpiece, isn't the greatest, and is bordering on paper thin, but I don't understand how people can still be as lost as they claim unless they are outright sleeping through or skipping around the episodes, which is not impossible, but then that's your own fault and you should probably stop watching this. This anime isn't the best at story telling and overall isn't that good of a anime, but it's at least been making an effort that a lot of you seem to dismiss or complain about. Maybe if the story telling was better or Arato wasn't shite, you'd all enjoy it more, but the anime is at least trying, even if it still is coming up very short. And even if it's not that great of an anime, I still find this show mildly entertaining an intriguing at least. This is still leagues better than some other crap anime I've seen over the years, though it still has a ways to go.
ZarialMay 22, 2018 2:32 AM
No I don't read manga. Why? Because according to MAL manga readers, all anime is either: too rushed, too slow, anime original, or a terrible adaption. I like to enjoy anime for what it is, anime.

Well we see some development in lacia and how she manipulates Arato to a further degree, next episode or in two could be a turning point though where every tool breaks my deduction is arato will have some sort of phycological breakdown where lacia will show her artificial but real feelings for arato and things will change where the manipulation will be a step down - maybe I'm thinking too deep ::/

So the whole purpose of this episode was for Arato to talk to a still detained Kengo for about thirty seconds while Kengo parrots the same trite as usual. Did that premise really warrant an entire episode?
