| I know it's still too early but I want to know which is better. I think I like a better animation OR a better story. Pls help me. |

| Based off the first two episodes, I'd say the movie is definitely the superior of the two. The anime adaptation is pretty rushed and lacks a lot of the charm that the movie had, it's not that it's bad but it just pales in comparison to the movie. Part of the reason for that might be because they plan to adapt well past the movie if not the entire manga. I'd suggest watching the movie first and then watching the anime if you want more. |

| So if I don't plan to read the manga, do I just watch the movie and just not watch the series at all? |

| So it is okay to just watch the series - if they seem to be faster paced according to people that know the movie. (So they can adapt all the movie stuff and even more.) I'd only watch the movie if there was stuff not adapted in the series. (Like movie started earlier or the series skips major stuff/arcs which are shown in the movie.) I don't care about animation or CGI or stuff like that. Mainly about the plot and not missing stuff. So far - after episode 2 without knowing the movie - the pacing seemed nice to me. Yeah fast (already first competition) - but that is okay. Slower might have been boring if it was too slow. |

| If you wanna know, from the way that's it's done, watch the movie by Madhouse 1st before entering into this one BECAUSE IT FRICKIN' RUSHED the first 25++ chapters and the 1st 4 episodes (I presume) for manga fans and those whom have watched the movie prior. Doesn't mean it's Gainax means it's any good... |
