| I've been having this idea for a while already, so I thought I'd share it here, maybe it would inspire someone. You know there are quizzes online that try to guess things about your psychological traits based on your answers. Then there's the typical mechanic of building recommendations for new things based on your preferences of existing things, be it movies, goods or whatever. So why don't we apply that to the favorite character lists everybody has on MAL? There are already websites like MAL.oko.im that analyze your list thoroughly. What if there was a service that analyzed your best girl preferences and:
I assume that would need the traits to be associated with every character to begin with and MAL doesn't seem to have that. Anime-planet.com does, but it's rather primitive there. Unfortunately I lack the appropriate knowledge about psychology or characters to make that myself, but maybe somebody would have what it takes to implement such a service. Or maybe there's already a similar one? |
| Honestly I would be pretty fun to have something like that. I know nothing about psychology either but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter as you can't get accurate results through an online test about your 2D girls preferences. Would still be entertaining. One thing though, I don't think your favourite characters on MAL are the same thing as best girls. So you'd probably need to ask some questions to the user instead. Now, this would probably be a good fun project to do on your spare time, but building a startup out of this... I'm not too sure. |
