Best episode of the entire series. I don't think they can top this.

Imagine the course of action which could've took place had Yuu decided to be Mami and leave her old life. I
love Takahiro so much and she clearly loved him too. I think if he stayed a little longer, she would've felt pressure to do something like that. That's why I wish this series had a little (a lot) more substance because they could explore some seriously advanced concepts that they're just missing out on. It's like they're sitting on oil and they're afraid to dig it up.

It was very sad watching him go, but admittedly I'm glad Yuu recovered quickly. No sense being hung up over a guy. I guess they had their moment in time, albeit how small.

I’m willing to ignore silly story elements in an 80s mahou shoujo, but I can’t get over the implausibility of an adult man being injured by a piano fallboard and the weight of a house cat.

Yuu really liked Takahiro, but him going to New York meant that they couldn't be together either way.

At least Mami helped him get over his fear of playing the piano, so he can now fulfill his ambitions.

I have no idea how to feel about this episode. It was really interesting but I hate whenever Yuu (as Mami) gets mixed up with older men, at least this episode delved into it a bit beyond a surface level.

Ultimately, I have to agree with Poochyena. I love how cute and fun this series but there's a ton of missed potential bubbling just beneath the surface, and it's impossible to tell how intentional some of the choices have been.

Mami has been a lot more vulnerable in this second half of the series, despite how rough Yuu is. Sometimes it feels like they're two different people, but sometimes it also feels like Mami is the real Yuu -- the Yuu who dreams of being a "good" wife.

I just started Shugo Chara recently. I wonder if Creamy Mami was a direct influence.
