Hmm, a wedding...pretty typical but I kinda like humor they added to it.

Tsutsui and Iroha were able to have a personal talk again after all this time and I think they reconnected with each other after everything that happened. It felt slightly underwhelming tbh and a bit predictable. However, I will say that the series was quite a ride of emotions.

Ayado apparently also got divorced?! Well, I guess she'll have to deal with that. 7/10.

That was pretty damn lame.

Ayado's & Itou's relationship seems entirely pointless now. The relationship between Iroha and her step brother was never explained. Especially that inseki tension he seems to harbor. The 'illness' was super contrived and hardly needed.

All in all. A typical shoujo ending. Loved the first 20 or so chapters. Loathed the ending, and didn't care for anything in between. Ending page by scanlator sums it up. Too man things left unanswered.

Yeah I was also confused by that, I thought they were going out but then this chapter shows that clearly broke up and Ayado I guess got another man and married, proceeding to divorce? And now hints of getting back together? None of it was really explained so I'm tilted.

Woah, just how did Itou and Ayado's relationship break down...If I'm left to guess, some NTR possibly transpired there, good job Ayado!

As for the happy ending, 7 years is too out of believable realm, why can't it be 10 years for a more fairy tale finale if not 1 year. Still, the last making up scene was good so I'll forgive that blunder.

I don't really care about the added unnecessary info here and there, like that next girl in the office or that step brother's drama...Well, no one would really bother themselves for those and no one is trying to anticipate it so that was a minus point for building a resolution.

yes, there are too many unanswered question, probably because the author, despite fast forwarding to 7 years, not really take into consideration to the other supporting character. nevertheless, their story is overall pretty interesting journey. the conflict is varies, not just love triangle, but family, siblings, bullies, etc, it gives flavor to the relationship and how they overcome it. i wouldnt careless about the ending if in the end they just getting back together, but it’s still very unfortunate how Iroha forgot her carefree attitude back in highschool, i love her attitude.

seeing the nature of Ayado and Itou attitude, i can see why they’re not together in the end. i was like “shit, the page is almost over, where the heck is Ayado!” and then blam, married and getting divorced already. the author just didnt want to give all of them happy ending i suppose.

let’s see how the anime turns out then.

In the end, I am happy then ending things the way they did. Was it perfect? No, but I am glad they didn't go the 5 centimeters per second route or even the your lie in April route. My only real complaint for the entire manga series is the way they teased the sickness. Felt obvious and blunt from the start. I knew right away it was gonna turn into the sickness route. I wish they were more subtle like your lie in April but not a huge deal.

To put it straight. The mangaka just said in the monologues that life has joke on us sometimes, it hit us like bus with none responsibillity and mysteries everywhere, that concludes that many question you got after finished this lol
"Life isn't always bright as daylight, the real personality of every person is when the night comes and the moonlight that shines through the dark hours."

Like a lot of romance manga and anime, I tend to end up getting more invested in the side couples more than the main because it's predicable where the main couple will go. Whereas a lot of side couples tend to tow the line of 'will-they-won't-they' more often. That's what I like. And boy, oh boy, did I love Ayado and Itou's relationship in this manga. And that is why this ending disappoints me.

The ending ruined Ayado for me. All that relationship building, all those intimate sharing of firsts, all those 'I love you's, only to find she actually married another dude only to divorce him. I understand, and they do address this directly through dialogue, that first loves often don't work out. Fair enough. But then (Seemingly implied) she's going to come crawling back to Itou after who knows how long? I understand a character like Itou would probably want her back. But unless she was caught up in a loveless arranged marriage that she was somehow able to break off, I can't respect that. Both from a narrative and a moral stand point.

That aspect of the ending aside, it was an enjoyable read overall, enough so that I can look past the end when rating this. One of the better shoujos I've read. But god damn am I peeved off from that one detail.

i r8 7/10 - mama tsutsui is a treasure

LMAO. Tf endings are you expecting from a shoujo manga? Happy ending and weddings are typical. Let us hear about your best shoujo endings then.

That said Japanese writers really suck at ending romance mangas, only a handful were done well.

I've read the Manga and watched the Anime, I really think this is the first time I've been a weeb for two years, I'm touched and sad Because of manami nao san's work Really this manga has changed my view of a girl whose appearance from the outside looks like a cheap girl, apparently we don't know that in an ordinary item there is A very beautiful gem.

That is for yourself, but for people who have lost their sense of love in themselves, this manga is a hope for that person, never underestimate someone's work.

It was a bit underwhelming. But my main complaint would be would it really kill them to just show us Tsutsui and Iroha on their wedding day from the front?

7/10. Could've been better.
