It's kinda nice to see Boruto getting assigned an important mission by his father.

Definitely can't wait to see Ao in action again. It's been so long...
I just hope Boruto is ready since he didn't seemed pleased about the mission itself.

So, a retired Ninja become the member of Kara? How, why??

I like every new story from this manga, but still it's kind of confusing.

I'm confused. Didn't he die with Shikamaru's father and Ino's father when the Ten Tails targeted them with a bijuu-dama???

Ao didn't die in the war. In the episode when naruto and sasuke released the infinite tsukyomi after their final battle, Ao was also shown been brought back to life along with the others.

I've re-watched episode 179 of Shippuden, and there was no scene there that Ao survived.

Ao coming back was straight up bullshit. He and the Alliance HQ got nuked out of existence with that bijuu bomb. Don't try to bullshit me and say he survived a nuke but only lost an arm and a leg.

Also the dude lying about Boruto having a "pleasant atmosphere around him" pissed me off even more that Ao's BS return. Boruto is a bratty annoying ass kid, stop tryna make it seem like he's likable.

Not only Boruto is an annoying brat, he's also an hypocrite. Did he forget he only got so far in the Chuunin Exam because he had the ninja technology that Katasuke developed? Has he learned literally nothing since the manga began?

It's literally the opposite. Cheating with the ninja tech and seeing how it actually aided Momoshiki at the time convinced Boruto ninja tech was bad and that a person should rely on their own power to fight. He's changed a lot since the beginning of the manga if you actually pay attention. The way he carries himself is completely different too, the things he's getting upset about now are reasonable.

Also holy shit that ending plot twist with Ao blew my fucking mind. I remember him from the original Naruto manga and Shippuden anime since he was the right hand man of Mei the Mizukage but seeing he survived the Ten Tail's attack and was the only one to do so is crazy. I can't believe what happened to him and how much he's changed (Seemingly for the worst). I also enjoy that this chapter confirmed the events from the anime are canon to it's story as well (Mentioning Boruto and his friends went on a trip there in the academy which is the current arc of the anime). This was a pretty great chapter and I love that events that happen in the anime (which is a prequel) pay off later in the manga storyline too.

Changed?! Where? He threw a tantrum and stormed out his dad's office because he's still angry from the exams. It's only after he saw a war invalid that he started to change his mind, but he doesn't care about how technology is used, he's against it because he got caught cheating and now deflects the blame on everything besides himself.

He stormed out because he thinks his dad is contradicting himself. Naruto is the one that wanted nothing to do with the ninja tech back then and Boruto doesn't like seeing his dad embrace something that fucked them over at the time (The scientist even gave Momoshiki jutsu because of it). You're overreacting saying he's acting like a brat when the whole reason he was mad in the first place is because of his character growth (Going from a kid who would cheat using the tools to now embracing his own talent and power).

Naruto needs his dominant hand to do normal activities. You think a guy getting a prothesis is contradicting himself?! What he's supposed to do?! Staying an invalid for his whole life?! Go fuck yourself, I'd like to see how you'll do without your right hand.

The chapter was nice enough. I guess the field trip to the Hidden Mist is canon now. I still want to see how many students from the academy were put into teams.

Well the field trip to the Hidden Mist is canon. Funny coincidence they mentioned the field trip right on the heels of the current arc of the anime.

Okay, calm down, don't need to tell me to go fuck myself because we're discussing a fictional story. Naruto never needed a prosthetic hand before because he had a Hashirama arm created for him by Tsunade...

Man why make a good guy bad guy, wasn't Ao one of the Mizukage's right hand ppl who accompanied her everywhere.

For the first time I kinda agreed with Boruto about this ninja tech stuff I'm not a big fun of it as well.

Wonder what happened with Konohamaru.

It was nice how they mentioned the Mist field trip they have in anime now, I thought they'd spoiler it hehe.

I like where the story is going . I hope the author didnt pull some bs jutsu where those kids kill Ao , atleast if Konohamaru did it ,it wouldnt seem so bad.

Well damn I actually liked Ao, why did he turn evil. Honestly would be better if he actually died then, instead of surviving to become a villan or something.

I still can;t get used to that tech developement, trains etc.
And, tbh it's kinda bad but when reading new chapters I still am mostly excited to see old naruto characters.

Nice to see Ao back again.

Ao, and I mean this is the best way possible due to a lack of a better work, as a crippled ninja could still easily have killed Boruto. Good lord, are all old men overpowered?

It's kinda cool that the manga referenced the current arc in the anime.

At first I was kinda glad Ao survived even though it shoudln't be possible (author needs to do some flashback) but he is with baddies? Not happy about it. In original story I loved him, he was cool now I'm not much sure.
I hope he is double agent or at least he has a very good reason to work with Kara
Also that Kara guy looks awesome, I like his design =)

I personally think he's acts a lot better now. He seems to have much more respect for Naruto now and he shows more drive in being a ninja. I really didn't like him in the pre-Boruto movie filler in the anime.
