It pretty much introduced the main idols of this particular series. I have to admit, it took me a little time to accept a few of these characters. Not much is known about them so far but they seem pretty talented for thair abilities. There's also some talk from the live cast about the show. | Great to see the connection between the main series and Side M and how the stuff happened alongside with that. Even that journalist guy from the anime is back. That scene from the movie with Haruka was a nice touch, except this time around we've seen it from Jupiter's perspective. But the new characters are looking to be amusing as well, like Saikou. I don't know how much role he'll have, I'm hoping we'll see him a lot. Also Producer is confirmed to be a guy: we haven't heard him talking, but his panting is distinctly from a male VA. I'm actually fine with that, even though I hoped for a girl (not because of shipping - hell no -, but because of the lack of main female Producers in the franchise). |

The episode timeline seems to be towards the end of the original Idolm@ster after Jupiter break away from 965 Pro. To be honest, I remember Jupiter to be more stuck up than how they were showcased here, I do remember beginning to like them towards the end of the original series but they came off as much more likable characters here and that's good. The 765 Pro posters scattered throughout the episode were glorious, I always smiled when I saw one. HARUKA CAMEO!! I love how they added the scene where Haruka bumps into Jupiter here, I don't remember which episode it was but I recall it very well. I started the grinning the moment I saw her walking on the side. <3 I probably would've teared up if they had shown more than just the opening of the 765 performance. That aside, Jupiter's performance in this episode was good and quite well animated. I was actually kinda skeptical about this series but after this prologue, I actually feel it might turn out quite well. Come on A-1, I want more 765 cameos, don't troll me like Sunrise does. XD |

| Dang that was A+++ Brand new field playing at the end made it 1000% better too omg So many connections from original series and it dealt with Jupiter's post-791p really well. The producer being unknown (wonder if it's gonna be like Touken-Saniwa where the gender is up to the viewer) and the 315 prez being faceless was a nice homage to the original game too Hopefully the actual series will continue to be this promising Now if only they gave SSR Jupiters for SideMLoS for free....>_> |

XD Be warned that this is just a prologue specifically to tell a story about Jupiter, and it's more of an OVA, than a proper series. So don't get too attached to the type of quality presented in this episode. Also, don't expect more cameo from 765pro other than posters and background Advertisement as, that's the only cameo they got in Cinderella Girls Honestly, No one knows how the proper Side-M series will turn out, I personally hope that it will mirror more of the original Imas anime rather than the Cinderella Girls one. Cinderella Girls has too many bad drama in between the fluff, and sometimes song performances are interrupted by these dramas. This episode itself is VERY good, in quality, characters and the short story. F-in Saitou President was Awesome. |

Yeah, the only female producer was from the Dearly Stars, Reiko from 876 Pro. For this series looks like they did a bit a compromise by giving the producer long hair. lol Hoping this becomes more like the original Imas than the Cinderella Girls anime. There was too many unneeded Drama in Cinderella Girls. |

| Ohhhhh my goooooood all my feeeeeeeeeels ;n; I LOVE MY BABIES SO MUCH NKJSDFHKJSDH Ok fangirling aside I loved it to bits. ;_; I've been wanting this for a very long time, and I was very satisfied with the prologue. But I was hoping to see more dancing, especially to Brand New Field. But other than that I still adored this episode. <3 Super excited for the rest of the anime. (Now time to plan more Shouta cosplays that have been on the back burner ;w; ) |

| Yo if it wasn't for Jupiter i wouldn't have bothered to check this out...reminds me of the good ol days was enjoyable New P-Kun is great was hoping for a female this time around but oh well i'd be crazy if all of the P-kuns showed up at once lol. wasn't expecting a 765 pro cameo so soon i knew there would be an outrage if they didn't at some point hopefully them and the rest of 315 stay as the main focus but i'll see how much i can handle on the other groups |

| Just found out the VA of Saito is Fumihiko Tachiki (the narrator from Akagi and Kaiji). I knew he sounded familiar! One more reason to watch the series when the first episode will come out. |

| this surpassed my expectations, there are tears flowing down my face the animation was sooo smooth and there was minimal CGI in the dances which was great. I doubt they can keep up this quality for long but it's nice while it lasts~ Brand New Field is one of my favorite songs so I'm glad they included it. I hope they do Gloria Moment and Planet scape somewhere down the line too because those are great as well. 10/10 |

| The thing I liked about 765 Pro iDOLM@STER was its feel of a Shounen anime, where it was full of GUTS!!! EFFORT!!! VICTORY!!!, but in an ordinary setting with a lot of slice of life. It reminded me of the likes of Bakuman, where it was a group of characters doing their best at their careers, engaging in a number of hijinks along the way. With Cinderella Girls, it reminded me of Shoujo dramas. It wasn't exactly akin to titles like Maria-sama ga Miteru or Oniisama e..., but it definitely had its sentimental moments that elevated the show to raise questions about the idol business from the perspectives of the Producer and Mishiro, the executive director. It took itself fairly seriously towards the end, and it gave the franchise a different feel from the previous iteration. Now, we have SideM, which returns to the feel of a Shounen anime. I got chills when they started playing the original's OST, and they even had instrumentals of READY!! and M@STERPIECE, which were used to great effect as Jupiter's ongoing efforts coincided with the events of The iDOLM@STER film. Cinderella Girls did something similar where you could see posters of 765 Pro around, but here, since Jupiter were directly involved with the first show's second half, it makes sense that their universes are more closely intertwined. As a result, it's cool seeing both groups helping each other offhandedly, but the greatest surprise was how closely SideM, according to this prologue, attempts to reference the atmosphere of the 765 Pro anime. The episode was very chill and humble, with the characters trying to get by with what they have. It's interesting seeing Touma struggling with getting back into another production company, due to his experiences with 961 Pro. The group is very popular and, at a time, were considered top idols, but ever since they went grassroots, their limits as idols hit a ceiling. They have the talent, but they don't have the personnel, resources, venues, connections, nor the communication outlets to properly treat their fans. That's a really cool way to approach Jupiter's situation, and it's something I greatly appreciated. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the show. |
| Yeah, I'm dumb for watching this AFTER finishing the anime lol Anyways, I didn't really love it or anything. It's good but I don't like Jupiter at all. I kind of like Shouta who is very cute. 7/10 |
