| Out of the so-far-released 2 volumes of it, not a single character from the main series is in Phantom Trigger too The game takes place many years into the future so if anyone was to come back they'd be significantly older than in the original. Might still happen of course but then it'll be in later volumes if so That said, I think the new cast was quite good too. Not as good as the god-tier original cast of course but still well above average by normal standards. Touka and Murasaki are pretty bae |

| Bought and finished both 2 volumes (btw the third volume will be out on July 28). The setting is pretty much set 10 years after the events of Rakuen. There's been a change of principal, staffs, pretty much the whole structure of Mihama Academy if you asked me. So far the only mention of previous characters that I'm aware of are Chizuru, and the A.I. version of Kazuki, Thanatos. Oh and by the way, the main character is not the girl with violet hair from the myanimelist entry pic, but rather a MAN who LOOKS LIKE A GIRL named Haruto. He has a laid back attitude and is nice to his "employees/girls" (should i spoil this lol). His past is pretty much shrouded in mystery though, much like Yuuji. Last but not the least, there are no romantic routes like in the original Grisaia series, where you can choose a heroine's story. As far as im concerned, Phantom Trigger's story is linear (don't have any choices), and has 9 and 10 chapters, respectively. I finished mine with both 8 hours of gameplay, to give you an idea of how long and how much the game has to offer in terms of content. PS: Murasaki the ninja girl is the BEST GIRL :) |
