| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Wow! That ending was cute!! >< Mikasa told Eren "Please don't die," and he was really cool, when he let her borrow his scarf and wrapped it around her. She'll also have the butterfly he gave her. :-) It was really nice of Eren, to assure that he and Armin would come back for Mikasa, after they settle in the outside world through their airplane. Now, I'm curious if Grisha knew about the "great power" that's inside Eren, which makes him so angry... Did he know anything about Mikasa's Ackerman blood, which is why he implied she was the only one who could protect him? Grisha's words will certainly stay with Mikasa, and she would feel even more responsible about protecting Eren. It was sad to see Mikasa so glum about Eren not coming to visit her... :( (And she made a doll that looks like Eren! :D ) Did Eren read the letter Mikasa wrote?? So Mikasa's mom is diagnosed with toxemia of pregnancy...I really hope she's okay by the end of this volume. >< We didn't know about Mikasa having a younger sibling –probably a brother– in the main story, so I hope her mom didn't miscarry or had to abort the baby. Mikasa is such a filial child! Her head was on her mom's belly and she apologized. She honestly thought she was at fault. :( Mikasa thought wanting to see Eren was what caused her mom to be ill; the sicker her mom became, the more Grisha and Eren visited... I hope her mom doesn't get sicker, or else Mikasa may never forgive herself. Although, it is nice that Mikasa's family moved to Shiganshina. :)) It was nice to see Hannes again. :') I don't know how to feel about the two people who beat Eren up, are dead from an accident... Yikes, it must have hurt to get hit by that carriage and to be kicked by a horse. >< Oh...so Armin's parents died when he was just seven years old. So Armin's desire to see the outside world is just like parents… Eren truly isn't afraid of death; knowing Armin's parents died from taking the airplane to see the outside world, didn't stop him from developing it with Armin at all. Nice chapter! I was finished reading before I knew it. |
