Is Tokyo Ghoul:Re where the third season is going to start. Don't want to wait for season 3 i'd much rather read the manga but I don't know where to start I don't know if that sounds confusing I just want to know where in the manga season 3 is planning on starting from as i've already seen season 1 and 2 of TG and don't want to read over what i've already watched. Thanks

the second season doesn't follow the manga , it's just a bunch of fillers aka shitty original anime story

Tokyo ghoul Season 1 doesn't follow the manga completely as it leaves out some stuff so I'd recommend reading from chapter 1 BUT if you are okay with leaving some stuff then start chapter 46 which is after season 1.
Ignore season 2 it literally has nothing to do with the manga it's shitty we pretend it never existed.

After finishing all the chapters for Tokyo Ghoul then start Tokyo Ghoul:Re

Taken from Reddit: Disregard season 2 (Root A). It was originally supposed to be completely anime original content. In the end, Studio Pierrot spliced canon content with non-canon content resulting in, well something that is by and far reviled by the manga community because of, well a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with your question.
Season 1 is far more faithful to the manga by comparison, HOWEVER, it does leave out important plot points. An easy example is that it cuts out half of the Aogiri arc (the arc where Kaneki is tortured). I don't mean that in a exagerrated fashion. It literally cuts half the arc. Other seemingly small things were also cut that are later much more important.
It can't be reiterated enough that you would be best off starting from chapter 1. It might seem dull to retread story content you already saw, but there are enough changes that you should be fairly entertained. Besides, you will be lacking some critical info otherwise I assure you.
If you absolutely refuse to start from chapter 1 then you can start at chapter 46 (don't forget to read 46.5). Even then, you will have missed some stuff.
If you try to start reading even further then you will be quite confused.

1. A good deal of the informations explaining the Ghouls, their powers, and other little things was skipped in order to move the first anime faster, so there are some established datas you will ignore.
2. The second series, between events rearrangement, new developments and removed ones doesn't allow you to skip all the corresponding manga chapters if I remember what I read about it.
3. "Re" expects you to know what happened before, in other words the two anime series aren't sufficient to cover your back.

Around the 60ish~70ish chapters of manga, the first animated series concludes with several blanks and there come the more heavy divergences of Root A. Maybe you would prefer another strategy though: to read a synopsis of the first manga in order to know the sum of the differences and then dive into "Re".

I think i'm going to read from the beginning but thanks for the suggestions

I would always suggest when wanting to continue a series through reading the manga, to read from the very beginning. Yes, it may seem tedious because you've already seen what happens and you just want to see the story leave off from what you may have seen in the anime, but manga is a whole different form of the series. You'll get a completely different feel for the series if you read from the beginning.
