| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah, seeing Hakone compete this episode is just exciting especially seeing Shinkai Hayato (one of my favorite characters in this show) Really liked the momentum of the episode. ABB ABB ABB ABB ABB! Hayato was pretty intense too. I think what Hakone brings to the show is more than just their talent but also showcase their talent at its best. Good episode. |

| Damn, this was an intense episode. I loved it - my favorite in recent memory, I think! Izumida was a fucking savage when he was talking about how the third years dragged Hakogaku's reputation through the mud... Jesus. Also lol @ Arakita "stop complimenting me!!" Glad to see Izumida's starting to step up as captain (and has a new muscle 'Fabian' I guess?) |
| Great episode as always. Looks like it's full focus on Hakone Academy's farewell race. Izumida absolutely savage with all the comments towards the third years having lost. Arakita and his Tsun was hilarious. XD Shinkai vs Izumida was pretty intense, We got Andy, Frank and a Fabian now. XD It's amusing how these guys scream and drive so fast at the same time. xD Shinkai lost, I wanted him to win. :( Toudou vs Manami up next, expecting this to be real good. |

| One entire episode that shows the blue team hakogaku accademy in training for the last time.. which I couldn't care less Epic episode~ BTW it was obvious that the guy with the fitness muscle pump obsessation would won the "sprint race". He's not a 3rd year, so it means we will see him again this season.. magically now he's faster than the other guy. |

I don't think Manami is going to beat Toudou either |
| So the "moment" in this episode is fully booked for Hakone Academy. It's okay, since it's been awhile seeing Hakone Academy in action. Which means there will be another "abs" duel between Shinkai and Izumida. LOL |

| Is this Hakone's year? I have to say I actually like Hakone's line up much better then Sohoku's IMHO they are much more interesting. |

| perhaps my favorite episode in this season. It was really amazing, all my favorite characters episode. The final race farewell episode :( I got to see Toudou again and his character is great :D "Heavens presented me with 3 things..." He sure loves attention from fangirls and they sure do give it to them. Loled at Arakita angrily telling him to look on the road :D Then the Shinkai Fuku interaction was great. Thanking each other for 6 years they spent (They sure are really good friends) also accepting each other as really strong riders. Always makes me happy how such stronger cyclist as Fuuku considers Shinkai as the strongest sprinter. Really great stuff... And then everyone telling Arakita how great he is and his carrying during Inter high was the best, he even blushed Awww. That was my favorite scene. I also liked the scene where new Hakone team were taking numbers for themselves. We got ourself a new Arakita, strongest climber Manami(ex Toudou) and the number that Izumida wanted the most #4. Really funny how naive Ashikiba is believing that he is an idiot xD He be like Why are you so mean to me Kuroda :( And then the final part with Shinkai Izumida race. FAbian :D nice nice. It really felt great for him finally beating Shinkai, the man who he looked up upon but now he beat him after working so hard. I always knew Izumida is one of the strongest sprinters after seeing his display at Inter high. And of course Shinkai being the best senpai there is, really supportive and nice. I also loved how Izumida challenged past Hakone members saying how they were WEAK right into their faces and that they will accomplish more than they did. Second place at Inter high is the same as losing. Manami is as serious as i ever seen him, that loss vs Onoda really changed him. |
| Awesome now we get some screentime to send off the Hakone bunch. They're passing the baton to very formidable riders! |

| Just the third years of Hakone team having a 'fun' ride with their underclassmen Izumida really cheating with not only getting the help from Andy and Frank but now also Fabian. |
