| Moved from Anime Discussion While this story was also shown in the television series, the OVA did it better from my perspective. It was much more theatrical with a lot better animation, and the story itself was slightly tweaked to feel a lot more dramatic, which I think worked better to create an isolated tale as opposed to something that served as a quick flashback that then transitioned back into the present-day of the main series. I'd say it would be worthwhile to watch the television series first then watch the OVA afterwards, but that's just me. |
