Good that Rosette can still be saved. Aion really needs a good smacking.

Conveniently Rosette didn't use up her whole soul, rather her soul left her body before it did... Weird callback to that ghost chapter to, in my mind, give us a potential happy ending with Rosette coming back to life and in perfect time to make the ending dramatic with Pandaemonium trying to steal her body. Can't say I've been too happy with how this is going.

In that flashback scene with way too much jargon for me to even want to comprehend Aion saw the 'core' of Pandaemonium's memories, something that has been banned from sacred times, and thus made the current day sinners and their whole generation one to get discarded. By doing this he saw the world in a way that presumably only Pandaemonium saw it, and he saw how utterly senseless it is. He probably understood how little freedom they truly had, something that we could argue is even the case with people in real life. But, he saw something else with that too... and maybe not even the last bit that I said, but whatever he saw freaked him out and he refused to tell the other sinners the truth of what he saw. That which has been alluded to in the past.
I think this story would have been better from Aion's perspective. Our main cast has been so in the dark and even the hints we got as the story progressed could be ambiguous and confusing. It's been like our heroes have had so little to do, and they've hardly been chasing the greater antagonist, it's more so he's been pulling them along where he goes and it makes the story feel unsatisfying at times. Aion has charisma, he can be kind, and he's not one dimensional, he's doing what he's doing for his reasonable goal to be free. To say the others are sinners are 1D obstacles would also be a lie. I genuinely think we would have gotten a better story that way. It could start when they first escaped Pandaemonium, and go to all the plot points we saw, from Chrno's betrayal to Fiore's abduction to Joshua's temptation leading him to join, all the way here.

I do appreciate the detail about how Chrno feels yet again destiny repeating itself and this time he cannot let Aion take Magdalene from him.

The idea of changing the face of a planet as an impact of something is cool. If that doesn't happen here I hope to see it happen somewhere someday. That being said, I made a big post assuming life would be restarted and that doesn't seem to be the case. Much of what I said still applies but seeing that he and the sinners would just take over as Pandaemonium ruling over all the humans turned demons or whatever makes it seem kinda redundant/selfish and potentially super evil.
