Yuuki Yuuna waYuusha de Aru: Yuusha no Shou Spoilers and Predictions.
When I’m writing stories, foreshadowing is likely one of the best part. It adds intrigue on the story that makes it more interesting.
Since we knew that YuYuYu had a lot of foreshadowing on the entire series, I guessed that it’d continue even on the next. After finishing the series of Yuuki Yuuna’s Chapter as well as the Sonoko After Novel, there were some foreshadowing hints that snapped me out of curiosity –that would likely be related to Yuusha no Shou.
These were some hints(I think?) from theYuukiYuuna’s Chapter and Sonoko After that would be answered on the next season.
What was the actual reason behind their illnesses being cured?
At the Sonoko After, it was explained that the Shinju-sama believed in human courage. Tougou and Sonoko’s conversation (Sonoko After) (Translation by Baka-Tsuki)
After the party, Sonoko went over to Tougou's house.
Yuuna was probably being considerate.
Today, she left them alone.
The two had a lot to talk about.
About everything that'd happened so far.
About their dear friend.
And...
—Have you heard the reason everyone's getting their offerings back, Sonocchi?
The other side of the incident.
Sonoko smiled.
—As I suspected, Sonocchi. You seem to know something.
—I know my fair share of things~, I wasn't being worshiped just for show you know~
—Will you tell me about it? I haven't had contact with Taisha at all. Even after all I did...
—I was waiting for a chance to talk about it, with all the club members gathered. But if you wanna know, then I'll just tell you now, Wasshi~
—Please do.
—The Shinju-sama... came to believe in human courage~
—? Sonocchi, could you make it easier to understand?
—... If you had continued fighting the Vertex, what do you think would have happened?
—It would have been a living hell for us, but the world would have been safe... I think. However, with the outside in that state, eventually...
—Yep~.It's clear once you see what's outside that wall, right? Us heroes would sacrifice ourselves fighting the Vertex, but one day we'd be overwhelmed and the Shinju-sama would get destroyed.
—The hard truth about siege warfare...
—However, the Shinju-sama came to believe in the courage of mankind. By witnessing Yu~yu's and everyone's hard work, as well as getting plenty of Vertex combat data, the Hero system has been updated to the next stage.
—Updated... to the next stage?
— Once Taishais done with the preparations, they will make a big announcement.
—... You don't mean...!!!
—Yep, the truth behind the wall will be made public to the rest of mankind. The fact that what tormented everyone back in the old Era was not a deadly Virus. And the truth about the Battle of the Seto Grand Bridge as well. It'll feel embarrassing, being talked about like some sort of legend~
—But that'll cause major chaos! Even I fell into despair after seeing what was beyond the wall.
—But if they explain how to deal with it, it'll be different~
—What do you mean?
—The introduction of the advanced Hero system. They say as long as we have this it will be okay. Apparently, the next update will be mass-production.
—What about Sange?
— Gone. The fact that it can be mass-produced means that an invincible barrier is no longer feasible. Sacrifices will no longer be required, but in return the heroes will be weaker than before. However, everyone will be able to fight~. I think that any young girl will be able to transform, as long as they remain pure. That's just me speculating, though. I don't know exactly what kind of system they'll be implementing after all~
—But with the outside in that state, how...?
—I'm not sure about the details, but they apparently found a solution to that as well. It will be announced at the same time. Something about seeds or whatever...
—...
—I wonder how the Gods of the Heavens will react to that... There are still plenty of things we don't know about the Vertex~
—How about this way of looking at things?
—?
—I think mass-production was their answer, after they came to the realization that a small group of children wielding that much power was too dangerous. Between the six of us, Fuu-senpai almost went to attack Taisha and I tried to lead the enemy to destroy the Shinju-sama, putting the whole world at risk.
—And I just sat there observing the situation~, completely neglecting my duties.
—After half of the group rebelled, it was only natural they would try to change the system... and as a result, civilians are being dragged into the fight.
Tougou murmured to herself.
— You say they're getting dragged in, but it's just as you said before, at the rate things were going, in the end everyone would be doomed~
Sonoko let out a bitter smile.
—Don't think negatively about the situation. The Shinju-samabelieved mankind would be able to walk down the harsh path, instead of a gentle one that leads to its demise. That is why it gave back our offerings and allowed for mass-production of the system so that everyone would be able to stand and fight. Everyone will don their own flower~. Isn't that a good thing?
—I understand why the offerings have been returned.
—Even with them returned, recovery is not the same for everybody, right? I am able to walk again, but some things are still pretty tough~
—My ear and memories are still far from perfect, too...
But that’s not a clear explanation yet, after all, the Taisha was made of deceit :D towards our main protagonists. And I suspected that Yuuna did something in a much deeper and wider scope.
How did Yuuna destroyed the Vertex by only touching its core?
That miracle was also highlighted at the Sonoko After, so I assumed it also had a vital role on the plot.
And then you look at Yu~yu who didn't even know if she would get better, being all cheerful. She's amazing. From what I've heard, she forcefully went into Mankai and charged at the center of the enemy's body, then touched its core with her bare hand. I thought that maybe a bug occurred in the system, or her consciousness had been taken away by the Vertex~. When it comes to Vertexes, not even the Shinju-sama's power would be of any use...
—Or perhaps it was both. At any rate, she was in a really bad state. But she still managed to come back to us with sheer willpower, after hearing our voices. Heroes are all about guts.
—Yup, yup...
—At first, I thought Yuuna-chan had shouldered everyone's offerings...
—If that were the case, Yu~yu would really have been unable to come back~. That would make Wasshi~ and everyone sad. I think a Hero is someone who gives courage to other people~. Making even a God think humans got some backbone, she really is amazing~
Why did Yuuna recovered later than everyone?
It’s said that she shouldered everyone’s offerings. True, but I thought in a deeper reason.
These were some of my predictions:
Perhaps Yuuna was hiding something on her own about the Shinju-sama.
We have no idea if Yuuna also had the qualities of becoming a Miko similar to Tougou and Hinata (but at least there’sa possibility for the reason that she had the highest aptitude above anyone else).Maybe on the last episode,-the moment when her legs were taken as an offering for the Shinju-sama-she managed to hear the god’s voice and made an agreement.
That’s why she gathered her strength and transformed to Mankai.Plus, -like mentioned above- she destroyed the Vertex’s core just by touching it.
Yuuna’s reaction after Itsuki proposed that the Shinju-sama helped her.
The character of Yuuna also sustained the theory. On episode six, she tried to hide her problem about losing her capability to taste. It’s on Yuuna’s nature to blot out something that would worry her friends. If she really has something to conceal after the last episode, then this character of her strongly supported it.
Yuuna miraculously waking up after Tougou cried so hard.
Yuuna said it herself that she could hear everyone’s voices while still on a severe state. What if she made a request for the Shinju-sama to return? And consequence to that, there’s something terrible that’d happen to her on the future, her death perhaps? Still not certain :D.
Yuuna fainted at the cultural festival skit.
At the Sonoko After, this also happened to Yuuna.
Karin swung her swords by the beach as the sun was setting.
—We don't know when the next call for duty might come!
She still couldn't move her body freely, after going through so much Sange.
It'll take her some more time to fully recover.
She was told by Taisha to continue her life as a student.
However, having seen what was beyond the wall, she couldn't sit still.
That's why she swung her swords with undivided attention.
—Karin-chaaaan!!
Yuuna ran toward her from afar.
—Yuuna.
—Uwaa?!
She almost tripped again.
Karin firmly supported her.
—I managed to catch you this time.
—Ehehe, thanks. I just felt slightly dizzy.
—Again? Be more careful, seriously.
—Hey, can I come over and hang out at your house today? There's no school tomorrow.
—I...IT CAN'T BE HELPED!!!
The last one… was this line from Sonoko after she finished her conversation with Tougou:
(... But every time I look at Yu~yu, I feel a bit strange. I wonder what that is. It feels like something's not right~)
So, that’s only my own opinion, my own predictions :D. But whatever the true reasons were, Yuusha no Shou would still be one of the best anime that I’d anticipate.
Anyway. My main prediction right now is that Aki-sensei will show up in the second half of S2 despite being absent in S1. Simply because Washio will establish her, so why not keep using her?

I have a question for those who have read the novels.
How did Gin Minowa die?
Nogi herself tells Tougou that heroes can never die, but we know this isn't true--it is only the Taisha and the fairies that prevent the heroes from killing themselves or dying in battle. So, was Gin abandoned by her fairies? Did she go Mankai too many times and lose her physical abilities to the point that it resulted in her death?
And why would Nogi tell Tougou that heroes cannot die if both of them would have actually seen it happen?

At the time of the trio, the Yuusha system doesn't have fairies yet. The new feature was developed after Minowa Gin died.
After the latest Nogi Wakaba LN chapter I am 100% convinced Yuuna's connection to Shinju is just something completely unique to anyone else. I wouldn't be surprised if she was half-god or something at this point.
megmica said: is takashima yuuna mystery already revealed on novel? or is it just coincedence their names and appearance same?
It's at the end of LN NoWaYu
72 DE--
The last survivor of the Vertex invasion dies of old age.
100 DE--
Humanity reaches its hundredth year of peace.
Zero Vertex invasions since the beginning of the Divine Era.
The very words "Vertex", "Hero", and "Uranophobia" lose their sense of reality and become archaic words used only in historical contexts.
However, one peculiar cultural practice remains. Girls who exhibit certain specific actions at the time of their birth-- such as reverse clapping-- are given the name "Yuuna" by the Taisha in reverence to the legendary hero Takashima Yuuna. Perhaps in quiet defiance against the heavenly gods.

so they not the same person? or clone?
just someone who inherets legendary name?

They don't explain how they have almost the exact same looks and personality though. I personally believe that Takashima was incarnated (or something similar) by the Shinju-sama as Yuuna Yuuki. That could explain how Yuuna took out the last core just by touching it. She has special powers granted to her by the Shinju because her soul is the same as Takashima's.
Ok seriously. Mankai is still here and we even got scary mark other than the usual flower mark. Seems we got a very short glimpse on mikos standing on the plant wall, possibly for
fire offering ritual
. I wonder if KuMeYu cast will make an appearance this season.
I am worried. In latest PV it shown that mankai gauge for Yuuna is being fueled even though it should be abolished. I hope Yuuna won't get the same fate as Takashima.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

If you look closely Yuuna's mankai gauge actually lost 1 petal instead of being filled. I wonder what that means. So far only Sonoko had entered Mankai mode in PV.
When i watch the PV.
Itsuki got Wheel of Fortune card. in tarot card means your life will be rotated 180 degree, that means.. if now u are on top, soon u will be in bot. and so on...
And when Yuuna use Mankai. 1 flower icon (on her costume) is gone...
Will it be NO HAPPINESS?
and i have an OOT question. Who's the director?
the director of the first series was Seiji Kishi. Is the director changed?

There was no director change since the information when the series was announced the main staff takes their respective roles as the original first series.
