| Can't say I'm surprised to see that many awards go to Kabaneri, and to a lesser extent, RE:Zero. Kabaneri had absolutely beautiful artwork, flowing animations, top-of-the-line Choreography, a stunning and fitting OST, and simple yet memorable characters. Even with the inclusion of Biba, who derailed the simple enjoyment that the survival nature of the series had worked with, it wasn't anything I regret watching, and I would definitely watch more if/when it is released. |
