Yeah, Nana had no intention of stopping him from doing that then. Dat third favor. Someone the opposite of Ikta? The Radiant, Sleepless Officer? His name is Jean. FUKUJUN!!!!!!! It makes sense that he'd play this role. |

| Aldera manipulating the Sinack and the Imperial Army's northern garrison seems like an easy way to get the two back in an alliance, or more specifically, Ikta and Nanaqu, whom are miraculously childhood acquaintances. It's convenient to have a third party as the true villains, using the guise of holy retribution as a means to seize power. Granted, it's not impossible since Aldera would want to jump on the opportunity to claim sacrilege, and Ikta's apology was done extremely well, but it's still mightily convenient. It somewhat speeds through all the war crimes committed by the empire, as well as all the needless suffering experienced by the rank and file of both sides, but I guess dwelling on the past would result in them getting slaughtered. I'm assuming the empire's and Sinack's war would be resolved properly after the Aldera aren't actively trying to kill them. |
| So Nana and Ikta knew each other when Ikta visited their village! That's interesting. Also, I'm really glad that Ikta and Yatori arrived in time to prevent those beats hurting Nana... But this first part of the episode really shows how beastial war and soldiers can be... When Ikta said "This time we arrived in time" it's so sad... :( KANNA DESERVED BETTER. As expected, the rebellion that just happened was just a way for the Alderian to erradicate the Empire's Northern army, since now they are at a big disadvantage, and all planned by Kioka army... They introduced us the opposite of Ikta, a man that never sleeps and is always working, Jean, and I'm really curious what will happen next! Can't believe there's only 3 more episodes left, and we got nothing else after this :( Edit: Forgot to mention the finger cutting part, I was genuinely shocked that Ikta sacrificed his finger to apologize for Nana, just wow. That scene was intense and really well executed. |
