| I like the appearance of the Future Arc characters here on this episode in order to give more background to their plot point later on. And seeing Nagito fuck up everything is both hilarious and cringy for me. Despite this, I think there seems to be a problem that started in the last episode (and assumed it would be a one ep thing), but continued on to this episode. That problem being that the show is forgetting who the characters in the OP are. Last episode was all on Sato, Natsumi, and Hajime in the middle, with a Mahiru cameo and Fuyuhiko and Peko doing things in the background. In this episode, it was led by Nagito, for sure, but Seiko and the other 2 were the main stars of this one. The show doesn't seem to realize that the Despair arc is the story of the 77th class, and I'm afraid these characters are gonna be side-railed in the future, especially depending on how frequent Junko and the 78th class will be. Like, the Twilight Syndrome murder was a crucial turning point for the character of Mahiru and Fuyuhiko, and it also featured characters like Ibuki, Hiyoko, and Mikan. Yet they were barely in that episode, with the entire thing showing Hajime's outside perspective, which is totally fine, but missing out in the important parts of this story. And for this episode, it was all Nagito doing Nagito things, which is refreshing since he's one of the bigger characters from that class yet gets barely any moments in the show prior to this. And there was a severe lack of the 77th class post-murder, which would be very interesting to see. Ultimately, though, the only reason I see this can happen is if the next 8 episodes are gonna be chockfull with even more content, which is why they were restricted to one episode to TS murder and a rather rushed Seiko story. Hopefully next episode gets back to the swing of things and gives us more of that class. |

| It was a fine episode overall. The previous ones were better in my opinion. Also, Hinata didn't appear at all in this episode. Can we assume he already became Izuru? If so, when will he appear? I really want to see him in action. |

I do believe, however, that Izuru may eventually meet Chiaki, and something (horrible) will happen. |

| Who the hell gets medicinal solution from a cupboard filled with them on request and doesn't check if its the correct one before using it?!?!?! How didn't they notice their bags weighed differently after picking them up?!?! Komaeda why must you ruin everything?!?!!?!?!?!?!? So at this point Komaeda is suffering from his dementia right? His obvious mental instability has no relation to Junko at all. With his Ultimate Bullshit powers and his mental instability at the very least he should be in a straight jacket in a mental institute. He's as much a problem as Sakakura.   The only ones I feel bad for are Seiko and Yukizome. Ruruka is a selfish, manipulative brat. Kind of hope Seiko gets her in Future Arc. | Ruruka is such a bitch. She better die a painful death. If anything, she deserves to die the most. She's so fucking annoying. Also, I guess anyone who mixes chemicals can call themselves a pharmacist now? I went through pharmacy school and cried and vomited blood. I suffered from horrible acne due to sleepless nights and all I had to do was claim the title for myself. All those years in pharmacy school and all people ask me to do is make them vapo rub. Nagito in the game was more interesting, he seems more subdued and kind of boring in this series. I'm guessing it's because this takes place before shit hit the fan so that's why. I was kind of hoping he was just as crazy before. |

| -that Nanami scene at the beginning is just sad and despair inducing. damn :'( -this episode made it pretty clear that sweets girl is not only a b****,but the WORST kind of b****. I legit LOATH those kinds of people,the ones that claim to be friends just to use you. it is the worst kind. she got what she deserves for sure. i am legit sad that pharmacist girl got fired though. our poor representative didnt deserve it at all :'( -there were two nice throwbacks to chapter 5 of DR2. One was the bombs being a reference to the 1st part of chapter 5,and the second one was the coats explaining how he isnt responsible because he planned it but his luck led to others doing it,just like the case in that chapter. -the judges literally got color from the cakes XD -how the hell did an explosion like that leave no one murdered? pretty certain from the wreckage that that is an impossibility >_> -protect everyone. fairly certain this request will be part of the reason for the events to come. -at this point i am almost certain that Junko herself will kill Nanami,most likely in front of the whole class, thus turning the whole class and hajime to despairs. -yokizome legit rocks. poor girl. she protected nagito too :( this was a pretty good episode,although i wanted to see something of hajime himself. |

| This episode was a lot slower, but definitely emotional. It's neat seeing how everything is starting to connect together. Nagito's such a strange character, but then again, I guess that's the point. |
