I don't know if the manga or LN contain the real ending... but you can check them just in case. |

| Yes. Nashe is the 7th. The new girl could potentially be a part of the real 6 braves. That means that there are two fake braves. They follow Adlet because he is the least likely to be a fake brave based on what happened in the fog barrier. Anything more goes to ln spoiler territory, if you want to ask details. |
| This anime only adapted the first volume of a series of novel (6 out right now, still not finished) so that's why it's ending on a cliffhanger without explaining everything. We may get another season one day (we can always hope) but the best way to understand things is definitely to read the novels. ANime is often used as an advertisement for novels/manga and this is on of those very frequent cases. Nashetania is indeed a "fake rokka", who is working with a different faction, with a different goal (that she slightly explained at the end of the anime) in mind. And for that goal to be achieved, the rokka and their goal are in the way (and there's another reason to kill them too, but that will be explained later), that's why they put that trap in place, and tried to have them kill each other. It didn't work, and they're no longer trapped, so now, even though they're still 7 instead of 6, they have no reason to stay still and will go for their initial mission with the unknown traitor in their rank, watching each other while doing it to try to detect the traitor. |
