| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- How cruel! such a cruel twist of fate! and I like the dubbed funimation voice...(though I think the subtitles were best in episode one) It is cool to see Watanuke, the twins, and Yuuko as supporting characters in a series with it's own separate storyline.. I love xxxHolic.. I hope I love this as much!! |

| Looks like this series is starting to pick up after a somewhat confusing first episode. This is just a first impression, but I kind of feel like it would have been better to let the story stand on its own rather than shoehorning in all these extra characters from various other series. I loved xxxHolic, but in this episode at least the characters just seemed like cardboard cutouts merely there to provide fan service. Maybe we will get some better tie-ins down the road; I guess time will tell. |
