| As far as I know, the original visual novel does have romance in it. In the anime adaptation the main focus was the progress of the Flying Circus team and the sport itself. I think they tried to follow a different path. |

I guess they added the "romance" tag at the beginning because everyone expected the series to have romance just as its original source does. If you're just looking for romance I recommend you to drop the series because you're basically wasting your time. |

| i think they avoided romance because in the game there isn't a single "main" heroine like in other visual novels. both Asuka and Misaki have the same amount of connections to Masaya in the game. Mashiro and Rika are the only ones that feel like sub-characters in both |
