| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I haven't seen the original yet; I just watched this because I wanted to go through all of Shinbo's work. I loved this, stylistically it felt like an early prototype for The SoulTaker but the plot and characters felt appropriate for a 70 children's show. It was pretty silly, but sometimes silly is just what I'm looking for! I thought it was a very creative adaption and it worked alright. Great visuals, fun but *meh* story. |

| The girl in the ED (the one in the window) looked like a reference to Ayanami Rei. And there's a Geofront thing too...Plus Yuko Miyamura voicing Teru, haha. That was a nice little fun OVA. 90's Shinbo+Umetsu is nice. |
