When I first watched this episode years ago, I was very angry against Annie and found her egoistic. But now, I understand her better. It's a pity that Candy refused to go with the Brighton, but she is too nice and she couldn't go as she saw Annie was sad...

I'm actually kind of impressed by this show so far. They succesfully managed to make an episodic structure by having each episode about a specific event, but they also managed to make it feel like a continuous progressive structure by having the events of the episode naturally lead into eachother (the kid being adopted in EP1 influenced Annie to long for parents in EP2, which led to them meeting the Brightons, which led to the events of EP3). I don't see how the story is gonna progress over the course of 100+ episodes though.

Woah!

Hold on now...

Those eggs got wasted!

Candy got slapped with reality this episode

Still 5.5/10 overall and I'm at the end of the three episode trial... But I think I'll continue watching a bit longer...

This was a sad episode. Candy and Annie wanted to be together forever, but Annie had the chance of being with a real family, and she decided to take it. Candy is technically happy for her, but is extremely sad that she's gone.

Will Candy ever see Annie again?

That felt too early, but at least Annie hasn’t completely made her exit yet.
It did feel kind of screwed up how it all played out, but I guess a literal lifelong friendship fosters that kind of understanding.
