Pretty simple show.

There's some lighthearted music in the background and we get ..some cooking session.
However, the art really feels natural and the ending of that farewell had some impact. Those photo memories though.

Pretty meh. So, are Megane-kun and the lady siblings or couple? O.o

It was nice, separation can be so sad, but this was touching.
People don't appreciate anything other than fancy art and plot/characters anymore.

I think he was like her neighbor or mentor (???) in the past, and in the present they're married couple.

Forgot this show existed. Well, I said I would watch everything, so I'll do it.

Will edit later with impressions, I guess.

I liked it. It was light on the heart, pretty simple animation and the music was beautiful.

Watched this on a whim, and I have to say it was very touching and light-hearted!

The art style was fitting, the music was fitting and I like the concept of it being about good-byes and journeys.

Really nice first episode for a short!
So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS!

It was good but I found the speaking too slow and the slow animation kind of unfitting since he spoke really slowly. I love the music and voice acting though.

I just tripped over a hidden gem.

To those who want to watch this: don't listen to that comments that say this show is a meh.
Animation isn't everything..
This show is a diamond. The way it delivers everything, up til the final. (prepare for the final scene, btw.)

Kissanime rickrolled me into watching this.

I wanted to drop it after, but then I noticed the short amount of episodes and run time so I guess I might keep this.

That was a nice story. Rather than the theme of saying farewell, I think it was more interesting to see the parallel between the two characters and how they both aspired to be chefs.

Indeed the talking was super slow and it was kinda hard to follow but I still liked it. Different and heartwarming.

Ah, so you're doing the impossible challenge too. This is the first time in my like, 15 years of anime attempting to watch at least the first episode of every anime this season. I think I'm gonna fail half way hahaha.

I liked how simple it was, but it was still heartwarming and touching. Art style was nice too. Cooking anime/manga are my fav but I doubt the next episode is going to be cooking centric.

Nope, Cookies-san you are not the only one.

I really liked the subtlety that this episode portrayed the sending off of a person in this case a pupil and admirer (and maybe a little bit of puppy love) to his role model a chef.

The soundtrack complimented the emotions portrayed in this episode nicely…

Well, this is new.

I appreciate its sentimentality, but the choppiness of the animation is a bit much. I'd be amused to hear what the budget is for this project.

Ah well, I need to see more before I can really form an opinion on something so unfamiliar.

Why the heck is everyone hating this? It's far better than "Sushi Police" & it's kinda par with that Marshmallow anime imo.
I really like this. Has a soft touch to it & the art is superb :)
Kinda wished it was longer :/

The episode touched m feeling a little bit. Kinda sad but comforting at the same time

It's kinda rare to find a down to earth sentimental anime like this

The art fits the story. I liked it a lot, and its only a 4 episodes long, so you can watch it whenever you have time.

It's a touching story and part of my to-watch list. It's a good anime to watch in between the current ongoing ones.

I was kinda bit off on the chopiness of the movements but these kinds of things are rare. Behind all this mainstream anime that's been popping out (especially the other Winter anime), we sometimes want to watch something that soft and calming once in a while.

I felt like I couldn't really care less about the characters and what's happening. For a drama, it failed to make even an emotional connection/impact to me as a viewer. (I liked Ojisan to Marshmallow better.) There's something missing and I'm still trying to find what it is. The art is beautiful, but I guess I need getting used to the animation. The music is beautiful too, but I think it plays too big of a role in the anime, and considering I wasn't affected by what's going on.

The speech could have been a little faster, rather than having pauses every 2 words.
