I think we will mostly see Haruhi 2nd season next, because it's the only one that has been announced. ^_^ |

| Think "Economy", it's pretty bad in Japan right now (It's only gotten worse since 2006) and you can make a really good guess of what's next based on using something everyone knows and loves. Money. And apparently they're trying to stock up on it. A noticeably lower production quality and lots of fan service in recent productions such as Haruhi-chan and in some cases K-On! shows that. Their lack of spilling news seems to be a good strategy; think this way: If they told everyone, "Hey! Haruhi 2 is going to be released!" Sure, fans will save up some dough for stuff, but how can they guarantee everything they sponsor/make will sell for a nice profit? If you're smart, you'd know: keep it a secret, unleash the goods someday and react to the unexpecting, slower market, producing more of only what sells well initially (You might call this temporary but get in the mind of fans, they'll want everything other fans have). Once they have the cash, you can expect something big. For those accusing KyoAni of trolling, get in their minds for a change: Everyone is trying to save/earn money. You can see it well this season; most of the series now are about half as long as a normal run. These people are trying to bring the same quality with a limited budget. Don't forget that they have their own lives to mind. Besides, last thing you'd want is a second season which is weaker than the first. |
