| Didn't expect this. So what is this, not a sequel? |
| Pretty pumped. Sword Art Online movie and now more Accel World content. Reki getting tonnes of attention now with these 2 gems. Glad Accel World got some attention since the first season was pretty good in my opinion. |

| From what I've understood it is an original anime (so it doens't follow the LNs) but it still features the old cast, so it could still be a sequel but just not a sequel based on the LNs. For people who are confused by the ANN article saying it is a "new cast" but the PV shows the old cast, this is from a forumpost from the ANN article: "Actually, the Dengeki Bunko editor specifically said at the event that the new anime will add new characters. We had a staff member at the event and they confirmed this. However, since we realize that the way we worded the article could be interpreted as though the anime will only feature new characters, we have reworded it to note that the anime will "add" new characters. We apologize if our wording caused any misinterpretation." So still old cast but also new characters. |

| I love Accel World and look forward to this series. But I wish it was an LN interpretation. Much better chance of it being 2-cour that way too. |
