| Just finished reading it. The prose is a little stiffer than I expected, but the story is all there. It seems the guys who did the anime really respected the story and just added their little touches here and there. About the only thing I can say is better in the books than in the anime is Wenli himself. He seems a touch more sarcastic and with a bit more of an edge to him. Just a tiny bit mind you. |

| I don't like how it starts with info dumping and I noticed some typos ;D Other that I'm enjoying the first volume quite a bit. |
| The beginning already flows better than the anime as far as the story goes. I also got a bit more from the characters in these first few chapters. Also the space battles are just as boring in the novels as they were in the ova |
