Rules have changed. Yet again
update 03/03/2016: Update on #5 and #7
For the past year and a half, we have been keeping track of every new character we enter into the list by posting in a certain thread we should all know about by now, but this time I though we'd make this easier, as we have now at least 3 active admins that will be helping with character selection.
So what I though I'd do was, go democratic on this.
How so you ask, well, insofar we have just been arbitrary and went ahead whenever we felt a character we liked belonged here, or whenever we heard someone say there was a character we liked that belonged here, we would just add these characters because we could but that ends .. in a few days, for all of us.
Because the new system, effective starting next week, will rely on popular choice, yes, a poll will be held for each character we want to add, where only admins will participate and determine whether this character is a KDEG or not ..
Kinda stole, borrowed well you know I got this from the Tsundere club .. it seemed alright to go democratic when the club has enough people.
And here in our formidable KDEGL .. well we have three people now, let's not get demanding on the subject of numbers ... and three people who are not only committed but also well versed on the many aspects of KDEGs, so I know we can do this.
So what do we do starting Monday 17th if we want to add characters?
Well the rules for the new candidates:
1. Every admin has a monthly limit of 3 polls that they can open.
2. Polls will be created as threads in the KDEGL subforum, and will contain the following information:
[Name of the character]
[Anime where said character appears]
[Character role as defined by KUUDERE SCALE]
[extra info you might want to add]
Also, the title of the thread can be anything, but it must be always preceded by [SELECTION] .. that way they are easier to ID.
3. In order to vote in the poll, every admin needs to post in the thread stating a clear stance of support or rejection with regards to the girl's elligibility, so yea, actual "votes" don't count, you need to post a clear .. semistructured .. sentence for it to be valid.
4. Only admins are allowed to participate in these threads, and every other post that doesn't belong to an admin will be deleted on sight, you have been warned, this means regular members are not allowed to create nomination threads either.
5. Given the situation with delayed admissions, the selection system and any matters pertaining new entries and nominations will be managed by the following admins:
DrMondaiNashi
Gpglssp
kuuderes_shadow
The selection committee has been disbanded as of October 2020. Nominations and entries will remain on hiatus until further notice.
All submitted nominations will be subject to the judgement of the three admins designated for such task, hereby referred to as the SELECTION COMMITTEE because it sounds cool.
In order to be admitted, a character must receive no less than 2 admin votes (votes from members of the staff will be counted as an admin vote, even if they are not members of the SELECTION COMMITTEE), this rule will affect all nominations including the ones still pending by the time it becomes effective.
6. You only have 1 post to make on these threads -- admins opinions will not be argued against, we are to state our opinion if we wish to do so, and getting critical over anyone's stance is forbidden -- please adhere to this rule because damn, otherwise we can't have nice things, worth noting: editing your post is allowed.
7. Once a verdict is reached with regards to the character's status, DrMondaiNashi will enter said character to the list and proceed to delete the thread created for nomination, when this is not possible for whatever reason, the administrator who created the thread for nomination or any other member of the SELECTION COMMITTEE may do so instead.
So yea, Zettai will be approving this sometime soon, cheers. |
