What a great episode!
Everything will vanish before Shaka:

Death Mask beat Fafner and out too.
I wonder what happen to Shaka after his fight with Balder.
Saga vs Sigmund next episode!

I loved Shaka in this episode. Especially when he said:
"Death is not the end."

Moving words.
Weakness is a sin!

I love Shaka.. and his high ego at the beginning was hilarious.. best episode by far!!
I'm glad Toei is trying to do a better job tho.

Shaka is my fave golden saint ever (my sign haha).. I really hope he can stay alive till the end of Soul of Gold.

The god cloth was pretty nice :)

But Shaka opening his eyes is not exactly badass there and even a bit ugly imo...

Finally seeing the Greatest Of All Time fighting. A couple things that upset me though:

- Shaka hit the ground, seriously? He has NEVER hit the ground in ANY of his fights before. Even against 3 Gold Saints. And now this feminine looking little bitch does it. Oh well

- Shaka opening his eyes was so badly animated I don't even..

Oh well. I knew he'd win anyway. Nothing resists Tenbu Horin. And I'm glad Shaka still has his arrogance condescensionlmao. Best character ever.

Amazing episode, Shaka at his best.
Curious to know who is the masked God warrior!!
I hope to see Deathmask again, he is just tired, he wasn't killed like Shura, Kamus, Taurus, Milo or Aphrodite. Would be pity if they take him out, he became one of my favorites.

Ah finally the long awaited battle comes to light. Been waiting to see Shaka in action since episode 3 (it's only one episode every 2 weeks or so, quite a long wait lol). Shaka had always been my favorite gold saint so witnessing him in action makes me super excited. Can't say it's an epic battle but at least it's quite satisfying.
Well, I got empathy for Balder when he's given everything he could to help the people, and finally reached his limit and prayed to god for power. This episode taught us the reality, that when men are bestowed with "power", most of the time they just forget about everything else and/or what they used to be.

And it's nice to see Shaka still showing mercy in the end even though Balder has lost all his five senses. Even went as far as easing all his long-endured pains. *bows*

Shaka was kinda ooc at the beginning, but the conclusion to his fight proved to be very satisfying. "Death is not the end" is a classic Shaka line, loved that detail.

Meanwhile, in an alternative universe, Toei continues to delight us with metric tons of sakuga.

Finally a battle worth watching. Balder is the first interesting god warrior and Shaka is always entertaining. Best episode so far.

It's also good that the powers in this battle were not random lights like the battles before, they had different effects, this also was a factor that made the battle good.

The visuals actually looked pretty nice. TOEI must have some sort of ulterior motive behind this episode.

That aside, probably my fav episode yet. Shaka was pretty cool, though Deathmask's fight was pretty underwhelming and I'm not exactly a big fan of his new "development" either

Shaka is a good man, sometimes.
Deathmask was cool too. GJ.

So that leaves Saga, Aiolos, Dohko, and Aioria. Now we wonder over the secret behind Andres and Lyfia. Is it not Odin's doing?

It's 3 eps left.

I think the next episode will be kickass all the way!
Let's start making some comparisons of the Series with Lost canvas? I am a lost Canvas anime and manga fan...

Cannot wait to see Dohko in action, I hope he doesn't die. Strongest or not, he is the gatekeeper of all Athena's saga
I hope we see a bit more of DM, he was again cool, and interesting outcome of his battle, it was quite smart, despite from this sign I still prefer Manigoldo/Sage/Hakurei powers.
Shura was also similar to El Cid in focus and commitment.
Shaka is always Shaka, was the best fight so far.
Saga's fight will definetelly show some surprises, I am sure about that. Not surprised if we see Kanon around who is as badass as!!

Shaka in God Cloth? That's overpowered as heck, he doesn't even need a cloth at all actually

I feel like I completely lost my patience with this series in this episode.

Deathmask (not to speak of Camus) is too OOC in this series. And it actually seems that the whole cliched Baldr story is the best they can do (plus, the whole fight was almost boring - was hoping for something better as Shaka was involved)

Shaka was so great! Especially in the end, with the God cloth, Balder was pretty cool as well, but he lost his best side once he got his power.
Glad Fafner is dead, he was a pain...

Did his "best side" have to do with getting beat up a lot? xD

Which I will never live down. At least not until I finish watching this series - goatee made him mighty handsome. To be honest I don't even remember how Deathmask went down in the original SS and what was his gimmick, so not only I'm not sensing the OOC, I like his kinda-redemption arc. But then again I dig redemption arcs.
