| wow just finished ep 14, it feels like the show could end here and i'd be satisfied. I'm so happy with what they did to sasaki, nothing like a good public humiliation. also wow everyone looks older but still like the same people you feel me? like they didn't do that thing some anime do where they just like make their eyes small and broaden their chins lol huh, kinda wanted mario to kill ishigara, actually I wanted sakuragi to kill him when he had the chance, why are these guys so merciful -_- but mario's right, ishigara is a waste to even kill. he isn't even human. what's that drug he was using anyway? philan something? |

| finished ep 16! aw i love the brotherhood in this anime. guys being true genuine friends aren't shown much in western shows. |

| Final Thoughts: Wow the second half was a lot lighter than the first! I'm glad for that but it felt like an entirely different show at first. I'm glad that we got closure on some of the stories (Joe, Turtle, Mario, Scam), but I wish there was more stuff on Solider. Maybe they just didn't have the time but I would have liked to see why he wants to join the military so badly and more of his past. Overall though, everyone got their happy ending and I'm glad to have stuck through the show even when it got dark. It made me more interested in the history of Japan right after the war since we don't often see shows during that rough time period. PS. Jeffery you idiot, why would you tell Mario something in English when you know he can't understand you?! xD |
