| The tension was so palpable here. I rarely feel the same tension and anxiety as the characters do, but I was really feeling so anxious. Hazuki seems to be doing much better now, but I'm sad to see things so awkward between Kumiko and Shuichi. It was really sad too that Natsuki-senpai didn't get in... all that hard work, finally when she's serious about it and she didn't get in. I wasn't surprised about Hazuki, because she's only been playing it for a few months at most. But Natsuki-senpai... I teared up a bit when the moment came. Damn, I'm completely sucked in by this show. |

| With the excuse of the audition, the narrative gives space to many characters and lays them bare, in fact most of them speak with the heart in their hands. Excellent episode that gives us a way to get to know the characters' characters even more meticulously and that dispenses pearls of wisdom. Meanwhile, everything is accompanied by excellent drawings and really fluid animations. The backgrounds are fabulous as usual. How beautiful is the relationship between Midori and Hazuki and between Kumiko and Reina. |

| Expected to see Hazuki fail since she's still pretty new to this all (poor girl can't catch a break both in love and music) but suprised to also see Natsuki didn't make it. I can already hear the blood boiling now that Kousaka is going to do the solo parts instead of their beloved senpai. |

| Initially came into this thinking it was going to be a fun, brightly coloured, light hearted time. And for a good part that tends to be true. But it seems to me that the overall mood is melancholic, the overcast weather doesn’t seem to help telling otherwise. I’m all for it though, makes it feel real. Now while Kyoto has yet again delivered some top tier animation, at about 12:38 when it starts to rain, notice how when she lifts her foot there’s already rain droplets there, when it should have just landed on her foot. Game breaker I know Also natsuki best girl because she wears her hair in a ponytail. Ponytail in anime automatically makes you 5x hotter |

| I feel for Hazuki. Coming from a rejection and then she didn't make the cut either:((( But let's be real, she literally just started a couple of months ago, so it might look like some kind of horrible luck at play but that's not how it is when you see she was competing against people who are into this since wayyy longer she even started. Same for Natsuki.. though her not making kinda surprised me. Anyways, if there is someone whose dictionary doesn't have words like setback and failure, it is Reina. SHE'S ON TOP. |

| She may not be best girl but Hazuki's definitely one of the best friends you could ask for. |
