well i guess it's because nowdays most people watch an anime only if it has girls with breasts of a cow , a pervert idiot male protagonist a female protagonist who should be in love with the pervert idiot protagonist also she should be wearing clothes that show too much etc and fanservice damn it !!!!

well if you are looking for something like this then don't bother watching this anime go and watch fairy tail or high school of the dead or high school dxd or some other shit anime that has those stuff!!!

you shouldnt just stereotype people like that based on your misconceptions.

I am finding this show quite boring and this mangakas previous series Inuyasha IMO is one of my fav series I don't see how she could go from an amazing story like Inuyasha to something boring like this that's only funny occasionally, goes no where with plot. I enjoyed it a bit at first but I like my stories to actually go somewhere and my characters to mature and grow.

My fav anime is Rahxephon which has none of the stuff you mentioned. I enjoy Mushishi, which is day of life and episodic kinda like this one. I LOVED saiki kusuo which is pretty much same style episodic and daily life style.

However this show is just quite disappointing, especially considering this authors previous work.

You shouldn't assume just because someone doesn't like this show they only like shows with ecchi in them that is quite insulting, this show is mediocre at best.

Well I have seen urusei yatsura inuyasha Maison ikkaou ranma and man this doesn't measure up to that urusei was 80ish but it was good the timeline doesn't matter this anime is meh

wtf man it's not like that I like watching kids shoujo anime the thing is this is plain booring man.

You got slice of life
Comedy
Adventure

Shinto/Buddhist Rebirth underworld feature supernatural

I don’t get it… meanwhile fantasy medieval 🏰 Isekai’s are so popular like konosuba….😑 and I don’t get why people like that ?

But again every ones got their own tastes

For me personally this series is good

Then again I am
Biased against fantasy isekais and medieval 🏰 anime…

Honestly with 6.89 at the time of this writing, i think this show is overrated.

I'm only watching it because i'm a stubborn fan of Takahashi, but it feels like a chore to get through most of the time. The characters don't seem to have strong personalities and the episodes are all forgettable. The comedy feels more directed at little kids. Overall this show seems to play it safe and doesn't really invoke any emotion, especially when compared to other long anime series based off of Takahashi's works.

I'm currently in the 2nd season because of sunk cost now, but i can't remember any of the episodes aside from anything i just watched. Yet i can remember specific episodes from Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, and Inuyasha--all of which i've seen a long time ago. Aside from Rinne, Rokumon, Sakura, Jumonji, and Ageha; i have a lot of trouble remembering the characters' names in this show because i think they're so unimpressive.

I gave it a 5.

@otakugirl10 Pretty sexist comment. There are also girls who don't like Kyoukai no Rinne. And you have a Bleach profile picture, even though that show has "girls with breasts of a cow" in it too. You're a straight girl. Of course you're not going to like ecchi anime. Just because you're not the target audience for those shows doesn't automatically make them shit. And you also gave Fairy Tail, Highschool of the Dead and High School DxD high ratings, even though you think they're shit. Makes no sense to me. Why are you even watching them if you think they're shit? Plus, you gave Noragami an 8/10, which has the busty Bishamon in it who dresses like a slut and shows too much skin.

Also, those 3 shows you mentioned actually have an overarching story to get invested in. Kyoukai no Rinne on the other hand is episodic, and would feel like a waste of time for a lot of people. Episodic shows are a downgrade compared to shows that actually have a story to tell. Not to mention, Kyoukai no Rinne has garbage animation. Literally a slideshow with all those still frames.
