Oh heck, scamming people with "religion"...that's rather low, but pretty common at the old days. Well, the guy was mental, glad he's dead now. Good episode.

Religion is crazy.
So, she's looking for her father, I expected that.

waaa.. that was unexpected.. Samurai who smells of sunflowers is Fuu's chichiue. I thought he'd be someone close that cheated her family or something..

The man pretending to be priest speaking Japanese with an accent was funny.. I was smiling everytime he came onscreen :p decent episode.

So the samurai that smells of sunflowers is Fuu's dad and his name is Seizo. The religious scamming shown in this ep still happens even today...

Although real life religions aren't really that often mentioned in anime, whenever they do it's always Christian this Christian that, I mean they do know there are different kinds of Christians right? Specifically in this episode, they're talking about Catholics cause of that sign of the cross (hand gesture) that they're doing that symbolizes the Holy Trinity. Never once have I heard in anime the word "Catholic". Idk it's just something that I noticed. But overall I love this episode. Cause it shows how religion can be abused to scam idiots and make them submit.

As I suspected since the episode 6, the samurai that smells like sunflowers really was Fuu's father.

Didn't expected it to have an episode about Christianity. Anyways, Fuu got a clue about her father.

A little bit funny, a little bit insufferable and a little bit boring.

The reveal was expected.
