| First I shall clarify that I don't dislike this anime. But it's more like the narration is not only not everyone's taste but also very crappy in this anime, rather than 'people's taste are shitty' whatever. This anime is good but it's no masterpiece, and what's more it doesn't even TRY to sell well. So I don't feel sad about its sales figures, and imo the sales figures are actually justified. |

It had plenty of hot lesbian sex mild fanservice, though. Also, plenty of other "art house" anime were successful. Look at Eva, for example. Even Penguindrum sold 5000 average (which is more impressive since it's not just from the first volume), and it's much less accessible than Yurikuma imho. |
