I really like the addition of flashbacks in this final fight, makes it even more impactful. One more episode to go and the journey ends ;_;

Joe is mentally already with Rikiishi..

Man,even if he's gonna win this match it's over for him :( But it's kinda weird, despite all these flags I still haven't given up hope.

What a tragic fight, a fight that will end it all. Joe's body is dying quickly, even Jose realized that much...

i actually cant watch this man im gonna cry.
Jose is much more of a nicer guy than i thought at the start. He clearly understands whats happening to Joe and feels bad for it. He even feels bad for what happened to Carlos, but he cant do much to stop it.
Looks like Noriko never did get over Joe, she knows that he never cared about romance though. And i think she knows that after this fight Joe is done.
Clearly, Joe knows it too. The only thing i can hope for Joe is that he wins the fight with the last of his fire before he really turns to ash.

This was the longest 24 minutes I've gone through watching this show, it's just so dreadful watching him fight now.

Jose was exposed, but once he knew the trick he got his form back, Joe only nailed him when he was visibly shaken punching him as he's completely aware of what he was doing.

He could give up on the fight, but a Champion isn't allowed to do that, and neither is that what Joe wants.
I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23.

Fighting the undisputed world champion with punch-drunk syndrome and one eye is a great feat. Jose has figured out what's happening and still Joe's fighting back. The stray dog in him has become a fully grown wolf, a lone wolf that doesn't need a pack. Rikiishi's appearance was a surprise, though I knew we'd see him again in a similar way. Poor Noriko and Yoko. Joe got some guts rejecting two loving women at once. It's rare to find such love today once in your life, let alone twice! I hope we get to see Rikiishi and Yakubi's final fight as well, probably in the afterlife as it's a pretty clear foreshadowing. Heading on to the last episode! > 2:29 AM, 08/11/24
