Great episode and it did a very good job at making me think about Vitalis' past. I honestly hadn't thought about it much before this episode because I was preoccupied with other stuff that was going on, but this episode raised my interest on various levels. The singing was the first thing, the conversation with the drunk the second and then there also was the story about the king.
I'm thinking he might have been some famous opera singer or something since his voice is so awesome and it would also explain how he got to meet the King of Napoli. I hope we'll find out at some point.
Vitalis definitely gets more and more likable with each episode. At first they did a good job of portraying him as that ominous guy and I wasn't sure what kind of person he was, but as Remi gets to know him better the same goes for us viewers.
Him mentoring Remi in all those various things is pretty heartwarming to watch. Reading, writing, singing, general wisdom. Remi is having some excellent education on the road.
I probably regret this post by now.

Great episode!

That drunkard was infuriating, but quickly became pitiful, clinging to his past and to what he once had and was, to him, life is just a torment now.

Capi was the best protecting his master and also Vitalis was certainly great, he really is a man of culture, I hope we eventually learn more about his past. The weakness he showed by admitting that even him would break down if he stopped to reminisce made him more human and an even better character, his little talk with Remi about happiness, the past and the present was great too.

I'm also glad Remi started learning music and called Vitalis "sensei" even if it was only in his heart.

Thanks for sharing the song title, I was going to look for it, but now I can only enjoy it. :D

Damn, Vitalis really stood out here exceptionally. A genuine dude, hoping to see more of his past soon.

Really good episode

We got to know a little bit about Vitalis which was really interesting. It looks like Remi is more accepting of him and sees him as his mentor after all what happened. I really like how he dealt with the situation of the drunk man, even after the assault he still emphasized with him and gave him good advice.

This anime also has some good OSTs ngl, they're starting to grow me already lol
