If only Joe would know how much Yohko actually cares about him. He interprets her actions vice-versa

Joe and Yohko's relationship has been really interesting since the days when Joe swindled her.

Well I think it would be too early with still 11 episodes left when the Joe VS Jose must be the final fight so they need some more matches until then.

Yoko wants to make Joe a wild boxer again, to be honest, I didn't notice that he changed his style.

Have the feeling Yoko tries to kill Joe xD Jokes aside, wasn't expecting another match before the one with Jose.

I'm curious to know what kind of wild fighter will be able to reactivate Joes instincts.

You know.. sometimes i really dislike Joe. all the people around him are concerned about him and want the best for him, including Yoko, yet he acts like a piece of shit and lashes out at them frequently. i mean, it is annoying how manipulative Yoko could get some times.. but if Joe sit his ass and thought about it for a second, he would understand that she obviously wants the best for him.

I guess that's what makes Joe an interesting character.. it'e easy to dislike him due to how immature and inconsiderate he is, yet it's easy to like him due to how well-written and complex his character is.

The fight has been delayed unfortunately. Yoko feels like Joe is missing something he had, but to me, it more of seems like he grew out of that "something."

I'm starting to like Yoko way more now.
I never knew that she cared so much for Joe. She wants him to regain his old wild side so that he can beat Ricardo. Her character is so well-written. She changed so much from last season.

Yoko is seriously trying to revive the glory days. Maybe she's trying to help Joe back into his prime, maybe she's trying to get Joe back to his past self to have that particular Joe defeated, or something else completely. Regardless, she's clearly obsessed with Joe at this point, and can't seem to leave him alone.

It's true that Joe has changed his fighting style. Lately he's been often in the ropes, taking punches, rarely going for the cross-counter, never intentionally dropping his defenses. And as Smily thought, his defending is still weak and he attacks without plan, swinging here and there. So from what we've seen I can understand the argument. The boxing still isn't highly technical, you could call it unrefined, but without the wildness something is lost, and he's just been relying on the secret shounen weapon, willpower.

I was extremely impressed with this episode. Retroactively makes the Leon fight better. I felt that fight was extremely anticlimactic, and now I feel that that may have been intentional. I still don't like that he died at the end of it, but my feelings towards that fight have greatly improved.

I wonder who this brawler will be like. I can't believe there are only 10 episodes left now

I think it would be better Joe do not fight Jose head on as he won by a small margin against Leon Smiley who is below Gomez that Jose defeated.

The relationship between Joe and Yoko is strange. One moment they are talking respectfully, and the next moment Yabuki acts like he gonna cross-counter her pretty face lmao > 1:50 AM, 19/10/24

@Akai_Shuichi If they were husband and wife, i think Joe would be kinda abusive to her because he choke her and throw tantrum at her many times

@Drastic-Measure its hard for him to think about that because he is an orphan and a loner who survive without any social relationship before
