Opinions of Saito?

(Almost certainly spoilers ahead)

I'm curious what most people think about him. Cause overall, I dislike him quite a lot. He's kind of a huge scumbag, since after about Season 1 it's fairly established he and Louise are in a relationship, yet then and even further on, after their relationship gets much deeper, he doesn't refuse any advances from other women. Sometimes it's not his fault, as they push themselves onto him, but MANY times he goes with it willingly, still has the nerve to tell Louise that she's the only one for him, then goes out and does it all over again. Saito is just an awful, unfaithful person.

That's not really the point though. Besides Louise mistreating him so often is really a result of his lack of effort to push other girls away. It's not always his fault no, but when he doesn't do anything to resolve the situation right away over and over, can you really blame her for assuming the worst?

I get that it's part of the humor and ecchi genre format, and maybe I'm just letting my real-life morals impact my opinion too much, but as much as Saito gets mistreated he really deserves it.

I liked him in the first season.
In the 2nd season... he was weird. They have changed his personality. He was different person.
In the 3+ season, they have made him little less sex-oriented person. That was better.
In most cases I treat most of his "sex-oriented" actions as a way to make us laugh. It's like he is a different person and I laugh when he is beaten because of his bad deeds. When he acts normally (to some degree) I treat him as a original.
It's little hard to explain but I treat Bad Saito and Ok Saito as 2 different people. I just... can't feel that they are the same (see season 1 vs 2).

There were a few moments he made Louise cry... but no one is perfect. I wish they have made it more... explicit but I guess I cannot expect too much from comedy, right?

To sum up, I like Ok Saito.

I wish there was a part that Louise will make that unfaithful bastard Saito jealous like kissing the other guys in this anime..
I wonder what his face looks like just what he did to her.. lol

also, why she just forgive him without apologizing, or even asking why did he do that? that's very unbelievable.. lol

In the ending, this should be better like this: Louise came with Saito in the modern world, before they leave, they bid farewell, teary eyed Henrietta, Siesta and other bitchy girls bid farewell, Saito wave goodbye but Louise don't instead she give an ultimate F*CK YOU to his harem especially Henrietta is shocked, then they set off, never to return, and lived happily ever after..

THAT WOULD BE VERY AWESOME... lol

I enjoyed the series . Comedy was great .

Saito is just fine as it was a harem anime to begin with . I'm happy that he actually picked up a girl and most of all , it turned into a marriage . Atleast he was not impotent , who don't feel the girls at all like some anime idiot anime characters . If i were to choose , i would have chosen The Queen (Tristain ) or Tiffania as they showed equal amount of love and were not short tempered loli shrimp like louise .

It would have been even better if he would chosen all of them and somehow law of that country allowed that may be because that was another world and he was a hero . But that's my desire lol :D

Probably the dumbest harem MC I've seen thus far. It's hard to believe a 17 year old would lack the ability to read social cues to such a degree... In s3 his brain probably died of asphyxiation due to all the blood going to his dick. In s4 they needed to tie the show up so they gave him some common sense.

If Saito's behavior is unbelievable then what about all the slapstick violence and wounds that just disappear two seconds later? It's not meant to be taken seriously.

I thought he was a solid character in season 1. Afterwards, he was less and less likable. He both welcomed advances and even initiated advances from the women around him despite having stated his "true feelings" towards Louise. Honestly, he ended up being a real scumbag. He probably wouldn't have displayed the same enthusiasm for their relationship if Louise went around and "accidentally fell" on his friend's crotches every day.

Saito is just our generic isekai harem MC, but from 2000s

I think his clumsy and oblivious personality is very annoying, just like our actual harem MCs, but he aren't worst than Louise, liking her is just for masochists honestly...

Just like other harem MCs, Saito obviously was made on the basis of the average Japanese man and his innermost desires, so the target audience, which is those same Japanese mans, can better identify with him.
