| Though still fast, I think the pacing didn't feel that chaotic this time. They still should slow it down tho. In the end, Ootani deciding to go to the concert with Risa was absolutely predictable yet really sweet of him. And by the way, the ED song couldn't have been more cheesy... . . . ... THANK YOU, I LOVE IT. |
| LMFAO @ "chiharu-chan with different coloured hair" the humour in lovely complex is really good, so funny!! watching this in 2020 and i must say the art style aged really well! nothing i can't look past and i do like the character designs. also, they make such a cute couple - love their dynamics! MCs are really likeable |

| Some more quotes told by the couple in unison, sweet. And then it suddenly trasforms into Slam Dunk, including the cheerleaders for a certain player (even if he clearly isn't Rukawa when it comes to height) and a punch over the head in the same style of Akagi. Risa's disgusted face at the karaoke was her best supposed-to-be-cringe one of the episode, in front of an abhorrent admirer (and it's easy to feel sorry for people like her remembering how many times i was in that same role when i was young, and even more ugly) Umibozu concert? The guy from Gintama? It would have been wild. Of course it's not him even if they have something in common. Absurd, however, that he hasn't been single for all of his life and she instead is. A very entertaining episode once again, despite this final detail. |

| I really love how episode 2 already started moving things in their relationship compared to most romances. Definitely like this episode much more than the first. |

| Otani and Risa are so competitive! I guess that's just one more thing they have in common. I'm glad Otani cheered her up by going to the concert with her. That was such a heartwarming moment. |
