I was okay. The voice actors in the dubbed version kind of reminded me of the voice actors from the 1960-1970s cartoons.I do occasionally like watching futuristic films form the 1970s and 1980s.It is kind of funny seeing some the things that people at the time thought what the future would be like like the computers with the big tape reals, the big walkie talkies, the huge cars, monochrome screen or clunky looking robots.

This was a fine anime to watch. It reminds me a fair bit of Patlabor both being anime about mecha and law enforcement, but they're also distinct for other reasons. Being an obscure 80s movie I didn't expect too much from it anyway so I'm not disappointed with it, but it wasn't a great film.

It is a unique way they treat mechas in this anime since they basically look like Gundams despite only being like 7 feet tall.

So this is like an earlier, goofier MADOX except it looks much worse. It was okay for what it was, but it felt like it dragged even with its 80 minute runtime. Some better character designs and it'd be an easier watch. Appreciated the detailed specs at the end.

tfw attracted to a mecha from an obscure 40 year old movie. Think this might be a new low for me.

This looks like it was made for late 70's, but it's two years past 80's, but even then the action and groovy soundtrack makes it at least fun for an hour.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
