Maruo did very well in his second try. He's come a long way in 1 year and really deserves praise.

Takuma likewise, well deserved win but props to Araya for going toe to toe with Takuma. Their match was very intense and dynamic, fast paced as well. If Maruo is confident in his skills, then he should go pro. I mean his performance in the tournament showed the potential he has.

Yupyup... raise those flags.
I'd like to see Ei-chan's new matches and training to go Pro.

Felt like Ei-chan was a bit too over powered after just one year so was good to see him finally lose.

But now he'll have to hold up the reputation.

So Natsu was playing matches as well in the womens division yes? Would be nice to know how well she did, given that she is supposively a main character as well. Even if wasn't would still be good to know. A passing comment even.

The way the match turned into one of predictions and fake outs on both sides was great. And alike another person stated here, I'm glad Araya won. In fact, if he wasn't a developed and lovable character he would have lost honestly. It was the fact that his character slowed down, thought about the game, respected his opponent, and evaluated his resolve that he won. Absolutely beautiful. I loved how he let his arrogant side go away to engrishly tell Maruo "Fhank you!" with a satisfied smile on his face. <3

Soji seems to be a rival in the love game against Maruo for Nat-chan, and a super prodigy rival for the title of prodigy with Takuma. He seems no good.

It was really cute when Kageyama told Sasaki to tell Maruo he played good but she was too shy, and then Natsu said exactly what Kageyama told Sasaki to say. That whole scene was pretty meaningful though. It's easy to be down on a loss, and Natsu tried her best to show him how amazing he is.

These kids talk about going pro like it's working at the conbini.

Anyway I do like the harem development, always my favorite. I might like the bespectacled girl more than blonde one.

I still think it's a lousy series. Unless the harem gets played up more.

Just like I predicted, Ei-chan lost against Araya. Damn, not surprisingly Araya lost in the next match, glad he still wants to go pro even after losing. Cool episode.

Such a great episode!

I have feeling Ei-chan's parents will be fully supportive of his decision to go pro. We saw several episodes back that his mother did appreciate that he found tennis enjoyable.

Good episode, wrapping up the Maruo-Araya match (ending 6-1, 6-4 to Araya) as well as the final of the tournament too with Takuma taking the crown again 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 against Araya. Maruo also now is in an area where he has to decide between taking tennis seriously to go pro in the future, or if he's willing to stay where he is and not go pro but play a few tournaments just because he needs exercise or some sort of competition to go along with taking school seriously and planning for the future education wise (like going to uni).

Going to be quite the interesting conversation with his parents, who generally seem really content with him and playing tennis for fun, but not quite so sure for a living (especially since they really seem to value him and how he performs education wise).

Great finale to the tournament.
It would make no narrative sense for MC to win even for the semi-finals because he was in last place the previous year.
