| Well that was lame. Wasted 22 pages followed by 3 pages of nothing. If they data when the manga ends then let it end now. It's going nowhere. For a monthly manga this is very little development. It was cute for the first couple of chapters but now, meh, better off using it to line the bird cage. Too bad, rather liked the Karin character. |
| Kind of a slow chapter. Kind of lost on the foreign audience since it relies heavily on a pun about her name. Kind of cute though. It does show that she kind of had her eye on him a long time ago, just like he had his eye on her. She was a cutie with long hair, too, but I like the slightly more mature looking bob-cut version better. (It is subtle, but she is a bit curvier now than the way she was drawn in the past part of this chapter. I would bet that Karin had to buy new bras in a larger cup size in the last year... He already commented on how she bloomed while he was watching her, after all...) Anyway, not the greatest chapter, but a bit of humor and background doesn't hurt. The puns with Curry/Karin and Magnificent/Karin (which doesn't work in English, but if you read the translator's note at the bottom of one of the pages, they evidently use the same kanji) were funny in a way, but not LOL funny. This is one of my favorite currently running mangas. I just wish it came out more often... :( |
