| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As expected, the sea snake was terrible. Instead of just eating them peeps in the boat like a normal monster would, it idles around and does notihng. Also, Howard confirmed for stormtrooper in the making. How he conveniently misses every shot is beyond me. If the writers didn't want him to hit the monster, why did they give him a gun? At least the snake helped them free the boat from the cliff lololol, not that it mattered though since BELL got dem powers. I really want to like this show because >dat setting, but the aweful writing makes it very hard. |

| Too bad Howard didn't get eaten by the snake. What an annoying little shit. Menori even did the right thing by leaving him behind when they first got attacked lol. And now, thanks to him, the emo kid was forced to throw the knife at the monster, causing them to lose both their weapons. Especially the knife, which could have been pretty useful tool. |
| The fact that the cast consists more or less of just a bunch of helpless kids made this episode pretty thrilling. I still hope they're going to grow through the course of the series, but that should be a given with all the dangerous situations. |

| lol. what the hell, bell? you're the biggest guy and physically the strongest asset to this team, yet you give your water freely to howard who is now chugging it like its his own... either bell and howard have a special protector plus c(h)oward relationship, or bell is just too benevolent for his own good. howard is ruining their resources. stun gun's out of juice, two full water bottles are nearly depleted, and the knife's gone. fvck. HOWADO!! slap was satisfying though. thrilling episode |
