| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The episode starts off super cheesy. it has basically everything it needs to look bad. Bully boy who threatens with his father's influence, check. Random accident to get the main characters into a sticky situation, check. Cheesy dialogoues, check. ect ect. At least the setting looks fun for now. It kinda reminds me of some 80s sci-fi books. Well, we didn't get to see anything of the main setting yet, so it still has a good chance to improve. |
| I first watched this show on TV YEARS ago. Maybe even ten years ago. So I decided to do a re-watch; and I swear to god I had zero recollection that they first start at school and all that lol Though I loved seeing the characters in this episode, because I do remember how they are at the end of the show and the character's growth is going to be off the charts! |

| Finally a sci-fi/space anime that isn't yet another fucking mecha. Although, I'm not sure I should be expecting anything too serious beyond mostly slice of life shenanigans, seeing as this is a children's anime that looks like something along the lines of a somewhat realistic Shugo Chara or a Precure anime, but with a sci-fi twist. And yeah, the cheesy dialogue and situations weren't helping either. Still, this does look promising, and quite refreshing. |
| Seems like a fairly straightforward kids show, though I do like how it looks and the sci-fi worldbuilding is pretty interesting. It got really intense towards the end, which I appreciate! The voice acting for the glasses girl is kinda bad, but not so much that it would stop me from watching. If the next few episodes hook me I'll continue, but even if they don't it's not a bad show so far. |

| god, most of the voice acting in here is ill-fit... especially the way sharla sounds muffled and dull, doesn't even sound like a child. and why the fk was she walking up the stairs as a fire was burning underneath instead of running. howard every 60 seconds: "my father will hear about this" |
