Who has better abilities: Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist or Allen Walker from D.Gray-Man?
 vs. Edward Elric Ed's body is that of an experienced martial artist, with noticeable muscles and a wealth of agility. Although he lacks both his right arm and left leg, Ed's ability to fight is not impaired, and is in fact improved, as he will often use alchemy to cause his metal arm to partly transform into a blade or shield. His heavy automail limbs are considered by him to be the very best in Amestris. These qualities, combined with his alchemical powers and physical strength, make him a formidable fighter. He can perform alchemy without the need for a transmutation circle. This is a direct result of glimpsing the "Truth" of alchemy within the Doors. During a fight he will often transmute his automail into a blade or transmute a spear out of the ground. Allen Walker Allen is an Exorcist of British origin and also the youngest one alive, his left arm has gained the power of an anti-Akuma weapon. His anti-Akuma weapon, also known as Cross, is a rare parasite-type that shares a symbiotic relation with the Accomodator's body. Allen's Crown Clown acts as a body armor Innocence, forming a white hooded cowl and sleeve of Innocence energy which covers his shoulders and right arm, while his left arm and hand become slender and black, clad in armor and razor sharp claws. A masquerade-style mask is always affixed to the cowl, which takes on various configurations and appearances. As before, his Innocence possesses a certain degree of sentience, but is now able to manipulate Allen's body like a marrionette, fighting even when he is unable to fight, or helping him avoid attacks that his body alone could not. When Allen's synchronization ratio breaks 100%, he is able to transmute his entire left arm into a massive sword with a large cross emblazoned on the blade (this transformation, from normal to crown clown, also changes Allen's hairstyle from flat to a spiky rear. | i had to go with allen in terms of abilities...though ed has a pretty cool ability...allen's abilities are just too much for ed so i have to with allen :P |

| Well, as much as I prefer Allen over Ed, I can't help but vote for Ed in this case, since well, Cortez321 said: And I think that says quite alot.In a normal fight then Ed would win as Allen cannot damage anyone but Akuma. So in terms of battle ability against the same/same kind of foe (in this case an Akuma, since it would be cheating to have Allen fight something that he can't hurt : D), I think Allen would have the greatest chances to win, because he's got a wide variety of weaponry, all designed to take out demons, while Ed has the advantage of being able to transmute forth pretty much anything, which would give him an edge. Though if we put them in the situation of a fight against each other, the only way that Allen would not lose, would be to run, since he can't fight a human. Ed has my vote, although reluctantly. |

| D. Gray Man and Full Metal Alchemist are my two favourite anime, so it's it's hard to choose, but I have to go with Allen Walker over Edward Elric. |
| Personally, I prefer Edward Elric. Fullmetal Alchemist is my favorite manga series, so I feel a lot of loyalty to it XD |
