What the hell.
That was quite unstaisfactory. I expected something like "I'll wait the one year for you"
and "When I'm back, I am going to propose to you, so decide what you going to reply to me.." (even if that type of answer doesn't match that ***** personality)

Well, I think positively: One year after that event, he'll return as a "stronger man" - like he said before in the previous episodes - and he will propose to her. And knowing her feelings - she kissed him indirectly (window) which is hinting that she has forgiven him and she actually loves him - she will agree to his proposal...

^^ Anyhow I feel miserable because of that awful ending. She didn't have the look on her face like "I'll wait". It was like "sayonara"... -.-'

7-8/10 (=8/10)

Best regards

The ending pisses me off. It was so abrupt and crap.

I'm gonna be the voice of dissent. The balls to end it like that really impressed me. I thought the plot would intervene and try to weasel Masuo out of his circumstances so he could be with Nagisa, but it didn't and ended on a bittersweet but hopeful note. Damn good job.

I, too, thought that this was going to end like a typical screwball romantic comedy with the cheesy happy ending and all, but the last scene left me pretty devastated.

You'd think I wouldn't enjoy it for that reason, but that ending made me enjoy it so much more.

Sorry, but Nagisa's boobs got more character development than she had, so the only thing I am bitter about is the fact he didn't hooked up with Hamaoka (even if marriage consisted of two doormats would probably end in a distaster).

Episode 16, I laughed at the end, Nagisa is such a tease. the ova was so much better and you only had to sit through 3 episodes.

I can't believe they left it like that. Good thing I watched the OVA first. At least I saw something better.

to think the 3 episode ova had a better and an actual conclusive ending
this woulda been so much better as a 24 minute 10 episode show
Isobe is definitely all of us and the best character

Reasonable end I guess?, to be honest I prefer the OVA series end where they are still together, this end is just quite unsatisfied

I honestly prefer Hamaoka who shows lot more love than Nagisa, there wasn't much reason given for why Masuo loves Nagisa other than her being the first girl who showed interest in him...well can't apply logic onto love

The anime creates such annoying coincidence situations.

Well, this wasn't particular good. It was the same basic conflict repeated ad nauseam. He being the wet blanket that he is maneuvering himself into a compromising situation and the girl coincidentally always being there at the worst time. And then he crumbles again. Honestly that joke already wore itself out the second time.

And was I the only one who though that he was kind of a creep? I mean he basically stalked her again and again at her place of work and even up to her home.

I like the OVA's ending more then this one.
Atleast Nagisa was more honest then the TV serie.

I still enjoyed the story though.
