Hey everybody, sorry for the late update; been dealing with some health stuff unfortunately.

I did attend Atlanta Anime Day and despite it's much smaller size compared to other conventions I've been to, it was remarkably refreshing to me to see how the huge cons probably were when they were still in their young years. The whole con pretty much took place in one big room, one or two small rooms, and a hallway. There was a lot of space inside and outside to hang out and I saw quite a few taking cosplay pics and socializing. I actually feel like that would be an excellent con to go to for your first, or even take your kids to that are also fans. I definitely plan to attend next year, and it's hard to beat the $5 entry fee.

Oh, and on my way back towards my neck of the woods from AAD I also dropped by Anime Remix in Alpharetta for the first time. If you’re in the area I certainly think it would be a great shop to check out and support. https://maps.app.goo.gl/MaXPgho34QUr46jF9

Anime Weekend Atlanta is also less than a week away now, at their new location for the first time, and with this new time of year for them. I plan on going at least one day for that depending on how plans play out and hope things go as smoothly as possible as they make adjustments for the new space.

I also just recently learned that the incredibly talented Ado (whom I'm still new to) will be performing in Duluth on July 24, 2025. Ticket prices seem to be starting at around $80 and going way up from there, but if I have the funds I certainly plan on attending. Atlanta Anime Day is just over a week away and Anime Weekend Atlanta is under a month away, so I hope anybody going is able to get their plans solidified and has a good time!

I've never been to AAD so I'm going to see about going to that one for the first time, and hopefully plans for me work out for a friend and I to attend AWA.

It seems in my neck of the woods that we're in peak Cherry Blossom season with plenty of those in full bloom.
