Queer/Queercoded characters

In the hetero- and cisgender- normative society we all live in... it is nice to come across characters that are openly part of the LGBTQ+ community, or have evidence to be in that community. Hopefully, with this group, LGBTQ+ anime fans can find shows that have characters canonically on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, or help realize that there is evidence that maybe some of anime's most beloved characters might actually be queer coded. In the end, I don't want to see this club turn into discussions of just "[Insert character name] is Gay/Bi/Trans/Pan/Genderfluid/ect.". But I hope that people can cite specific evidence from the anime or the manga writers that helps lead to the conclusion. Maybe even question if the representation is good representation or not, and even ask ourselves how this changes the story, if at all. Hate speech of any kind would not be allowed, Transphobia and Homophobia would not be allowed. And please try to keep this club educational and open to new ideas.
