New Dawn Festival
A new year has begun and Golden Dawn is hosting the traditional 'New Dawn Festival' to celebrate it. However, this time around Golden Dawn has advertised a unique and exciting proposition for Aura Users with combat experience, drawing a whole new crowd of people to Golden Dawn...

Rules can have varying punishments if special circumstances surround the breaking of said rules. If there is ill intention behind rule-breaking, punishments may be more severe. If rule-breaking stems from misunderstandings or mistakes, it may be settled with a warning.

Rules:
All MAL Rules apply here, as this is a public club. These rules are important as they can result in the club's termination if broken.

Thread creation is not allowed without the permission of the administration.

Be respectful to each other. Curses or insults will receive proper punishments. Keep in mind that this is also a rule in the MAL community guidelines, meaning that it could also warrant punishment from the MAL moderators themselves.

A character needs to be approved by the admins, before posting with the character is allowed.

A character's profile cannot be changed after approval, except after getting permission by making a request for the changes in the Request Thread. Exceptions to this are the biography, personality and optional sheet additions. More on this can be read in the request thread itself.

Godmodding, metagaming or powerplaying are not permitted. 
Godmodding is taking control of a character that isn't your own. 
Metagaming is allowing your character to know or act on things that the character cannot know about. The out of character (OOC) knowledge is misused to decide in character (IC) actions.
Powerplaying can be seen as a form of godmodding, but also as exceeding the abilities of your character or breaking reasonable boundaries on the characters capabilities, skills and knowledge. All these forms of powerplaying are forbidden.
It is impossible to gain items (with the exception of weapons) made from tiered materials in other ways than directly (making it with your own character) or indirectly (getting it from another character that made it with the crafting system) through the crafting system. More on this can be read in the Items and Crafting thread.

The maximum characters allowed to be created at the start is two. (Two extra character slots can be gained, one a month for two months after you first join. Only if you are active.)

It is not allowed to copy an already existing power. Broadly interpretable powers, such as 'fire-bending,' can be taken by more than one character for as long as their practical application and usage is different enough. 

Having the same character exist in two different locations at the same time is not allowed.

Deleting a character can only be done through a deletion request. This kind of request can be denied if the character has been created recently.

Characters that are not roleplayed with for extended periods of time (more than a month) face a chance of being deleted by the admins. A warning may be given beforehand, but this is not obligatory for admins to do. It is possible to make a standby request in the Request Thread, in order to make sure that your character doesn't get deleted due to inactivity. 

Each post must be at least five sentences in length. Only the usage of full sentences is allowed. 

Posting personal notes in the roleplay threads (notes that only relate to out of character subjects, such as stating that you are going off to sleep) is not allowed. Please use personal messages or the comments for these things. Posts like these will be deleted. 

It is advisable to give your post a good layout and to use at least basic grammar to improve legibility. More information on post layout can be found in the Post Layout example.

Leaving an area must be indicated in bold in the characters post.

Stay within the range of credibility. Every battle has its consequences. One cannot be invincible.

Please include a summary of all your character's Attributes in combat posts. This will make it easier for the Conductors to calculate damage and whatnot.

All forms of ERP (Roleplay including sexual or erotic actions and content) is prohibited. Posts that break this rule will be deleted without warning.

I'd build a wall to keep the Mexicans out, but I've got paws, so I can't really do so. Also; random people that seemingly shouldn't have a voice or opinion regarding any of this are already being edgy by saying stuff that are probably true, which isn't the most motivating. Let's just add a bit of spray-tan instead. Golden Dawn: The Orange Edition.
